Excellent dining experience, even though we chose a busy time to eat Dylan still found us a table and kept checking on us while we waited for food. Ten out of ten for customer services. Meals were delicious and good value. Plenty of parking with lots of disabled spaces. Restaurant spotless. Really enjoyed our visit today.
Breakfast is excellent but the evening meal is basically chain food and we couldn't order what we wanted because they had ran out of fillet steak and calamari. This meant both dishes that myself and my wife wanted were both off the menu!
How does a steakhouse (the clue is in the name Beefeater) run out of steak?
Kim went absolutely above and beyond in helping us manage allergies. Our allergy is rare (so not listed in allergens) but severe but she triple checked everything and spotted something we overlooked! Thanks Kim. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed and the food was well cooked and tasty. The biggest thing for us was being able to relax and feel safe.
The recent flooding all around Chesterfield / Bakewell area left us stranded on Friday night, together with quite a few other motorists ( we were the lucky ones, having a caravan meant we got a good night's sleep in the car park ). The staff at the Beefeater were really welcoming and helpful, even though they themselves were struggling to get in and out of work and felt like they were running a refugee centre. I'd just like to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone there , we really appreciated your kindness.
Called in late afternoon for a pint after peak district walk still busy with dinners Prompt and friendly service plenty of seating for non dinners average price for the area £10.95 for a large wine and a pint of Carling very clean and easily accessible toilets didn't eat but food we saw looked nice would call again
Arrived around 3pm on a Wednesday - was very quiet. Served at bar quickly, and the lady serving was very friendly and courteous. Sat outside and food arrived very quickly. Waitress checked I'm with us a couple of times to ensure all was well. No issues and food was all good.
Family celebration five adults, three children - we were really well looked after by our server Dylan. Nothing was too much trouble and his friendly and professional manner really enhanced our visit. Food was really good.

We had a lovely wedding anniversary meal. The food was delicious and good size portions. Tia and all the staff couldn’t do enough to make it a special evening for us plus giving us a congratulatory card. It’s not our first time eating there and we keep going back.
Went for a 2-3 course meal with family. Despite having 10 of us, the service was friendly, fast and attentive. Food was good and cheap especially considering we used the Meal Deal provided by the Premier Inn next door. Overall a great dining experience considering the price. Definitely recommend to anyone staying in the hotel or passing by.
