We had an engagement party for our son and his fiancee at this pub yesterday. Ash and his team were brilliant and very attentive. We were given a section of the pub with the fireplace in it and it was perfect for 10 adults and 1 child. They let us decorate the space how we wanted to. We chose the gold buffet but unfortunately, on the day there were certain items not available and therefore had to go for the silver buffet, but Ash couldn't apologise enough and made sure the extra wings ordered were not charged for, and in the end there was more than enough food and it was all delicious. Our guests all commented on how lovely it was. So a big thank you to all the staff for making it such a happy occasion 😊 x

Good to see this pub has improved massively! We visited on a hot and very busy day yesterday to find many couples and families enjoying their drinks in the sun. The staff were very helpful and polite even though they were busy and warm behind the bar. We had the the pleasure of meeting the new manager Richard who came across very professional and polite. He was very attentive to the customers along with his team. As a local we are so happy that this pubs atmosphere and service has improved and long may it continue. See you soon.

I was here for a meal the other day, i cant compliment this place enough. The food was amazing and the staff were genuinely outstanding. Had a sweet server Melissa who went above and beyond, an incredible addition to the the team. 5/5

Love that their dog friendly normally always go once a week for a drink. Chicken burger last week cooked perfectly. Sometimes service is a bit slow but due to lack of staff probably and if you get a bottle of wine make sure to ask for loads of ice in the bucket. But great food, wine and love the garden

We happened upon The Queens Head recently because we couldn't book our usual Ember Inn. All I can say is what a great decision! The staff are friendly and always happy to have a chat. We had a delicious meal. The bonus was a super fun quiz. From the 3 fat friends!!!

Lovely pub. The bar staff were so smiley, even at the end of the evening. That makes all the difference to me. The food was lovely and a reasonable price. And fantastic live music from 8.30 to midnight on a Saturday night. Definitely recommend.

We booked a table for our wedding anniversary. Expecting to have a drink and a meal. We stayed from 7-10.30pm as we joined in with the quiz. Brilliant night fantastic food and customer service. Well done team 10 out of 10
