First time we tried here on the recommendation of others. The haddock and chips were well cooked and tasty, and reasonably priced. The shop is only small and was really busy which I always take as a good sign that the food must be nice. I am absolutely in love with the mushy pea fritters!

Wow, we have just had fish and chips from Pips for the first time, could not fault, batter was lovely and crispy, fish nice, not watery. Still hot when we got home. I was originally going to have Savaloy as I haven't had one in ages but a previous customer had been in a brought all 8, so they must be good lol,but we have been assured they will have some for me next time. We rate this 10/10

After leaving louth hospital, we decided to drive to pips in grimsby for some fish and chips.
Well let's say they were the best fish and chips we've had in a long while we also had some cod cheeks which were delicious so was the free onion ring and Irish curry. We wont be long before we visit again.

Just had a large haddock with some chip's. The fish was cooked to perfection, restaurant quality!

Everyone has their favourite chippie and claim the fish is the best. Let me tell you, as far as the wife and I are concerned, Pip's haddock is sublime. Batter is lovely, cooked in great oil and fish is a clean meaty fillet. I've had some great fish all over our area but to me, for now, Pip's Chips are league leaders.

We were heading to Cleethorpes on Saturday for fish and chips at Papa's. Massive traffic and we noticed Pip's with a convenient parking space outside. As there are tables and chairs outside and it was a lovely day we decided to give it a try. Oh my, beautiful, skinned fish, crispy chips, all presented in a nice box lined with hygienic paper and wooden cutlery. The lovely couple running the chippy said that they paid extra for high grade fish and I would say it was well worth it. There was also a specials board (see photo).
They also serve traditional Yorkshire fish patties, the type with 2 slices of potato with fish in between, so bought a couple to bring home.
All in all a really great chippy!

Once again Pips has knocked it out of the park like they always do, homemade cheese sauce is best I’ve ever had by far. Chips are just perfect, the fish as always is light and fluffy while being crispy, fish cake is just amazing!
Pips has made every other chip shop look rubbish will always be going to Pips from now on

Came here as my team played Grimsby. Wonderful staff served us and tried to get us to have the spicy curry sauce.
My chips and curry sauce were delicious, and I would definitely go back there when I'm in the area for football again.
