What a great little restaurant to find in Cockermouth! We went for a birthday dinner for two and weren't disappointed. The staff were efficient, helpful and friendly. The wine was good and the food absolutely delicious. Prices were very reasonable. I will certainly come here again. Faultless.

Lovely restaurant in the Main Street in Cockermouth.
The owner and his wife as well as their service are friend and helpful.
The food was very good! Having just been in Turkey 6 months ago, I must say the food in this restaurant was better than in Turkey.
We ordered a few starters and mains and everything was absolutely delicious!
My personal favorites were: sigara boregi (filo pastry rolls filled with feta), Ali nazik kebab (lamb kebabs on a bed of aubergine and pepper yogurt).
For dessert, the Antem Katmer is one of the best desserts I’ve tried!
Will definitely be back!
Had a decent meal here. The food is good but it is a bit on the pricey side, around £6-7 for a single mezze and £20 for a main.
We ordered three mezze, a main and a dessert all to share.
The mezze were good, just again a bit expensive for the size of it. Similarly for the dessert, we ordered baklava and we got two pieces for £6.50.
I would come back but it is not somewhere you can keep going to because of the cost.
Delicious food, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating! Definitely worth a visit!
Up here on business, recommended by a colleague. Wow! Just wow. Superb food cooked to perfection, quick service, I had starter, mains desert and coffee. The starter was amazing (sausage). The mixed kebab for mains was delicious. I opted for the rice pudding dish for desert (forgot the name) but it was absolutely lovely and a Turkish coffee to finish. I went at 5:45pm, quiet when I arrived but got busier, so you know it is good. Would highly recommend!

Really lovely place - the staff are very attentive and super friendly. Had a table booked just before Christmas and there were free Christmas crackers provided! The food is absolutely gorgeous and the portions are generous. Great atmosphere as well. Nice to have somewhere like this in the area offering Turkish food! Highly recommend.
