Great little food hut, unfortuntely cash only as it is an old war shed so they do not have have any signal for a card machine. But the food is great, they sell sea shoes which is usefull as mersea beach is a little stoney on the way to the sea, slush puppies, ice cream, chips etc. Staff are great, young lady named Jesus was my favourite 😉.

Wonderful location and great service. The staff were so very generous and I was able to sit and work in the sun. I never knew this place existed but I'll definitely be back ! Thanks for a lovely relaxing time.

We had lunch there today and I ordered a prawn sandwich which came out not in its best condition it was a bit out of date so I did bring it to there attention and to my surprise even though they was really busy they couldn't be more apologetic they gave me my money back plus a lovely fresh sandwich and a bottle of water .
So there is still good service and nice people when you least expect it so thankyou .

Really lovely cafe selling hot and cold drinks and food, situated right on the beach front of East Mersea. Note that they only accept cash, however the lady did direct me to the nearest cash machine (which is about a 10 min walk away), so no probs there. We had an ice-cream each was lovely and really reasonable. They also sell cake, lunch stuff and everything for the beach that you usually forget! It was a really hot day, and the lady also kindly filled up our kids water bottles, which was very much appreciated!

Very friendly staff. Dogs allowed and outstanding food. All the food is fresh from the bakery and would definitely recommend. One of the best places to visit and a must for mersea island. Amy was especially helpful in recommendations for the area.

A good place 4 a snack, ice cream, coffee, tables & sun shades to sit at right on the beach. Just take your litter to a bin so others can enjoy too.

Bought some take away food which we took back to the beach hut we rented. Staff were friendly and the food was good. Nice selection of ice cream too.

Arrived after a fairly long cycle ride with my grandson and needed sustenance. We both loaded up on carbs, he had chips, I had an Eccles. We both had a can of fizzy. Very pleasant lady served us. Plenty of seating
Plenty of chips and the Eccles was the best I've had for a very long time. Considering the beach side spot and a fairly limited customer base I thought £7 for the lot was reasonable. Plenty of other food on offer, so would recommend it.
