This afternoon was my first visit to the tea room with my family and it was a lovely experience. So nice to discover a café/tea room with an extensive gluten free menu ( I would recommend the lemon cake) The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended.

I love everything about this little tea room, especially the fact that they do gluten free very well. The staff are friendly and the decor/ambience is adorable, right up my street! Their gf scones are the best I've had in a looooong time, well worth a visit for these alone but I highly recommend the high tea

Amazing little tea shop with proper 1940s flavour/ ambiance. Nothing too much trouble from the wonderful staff. We had the afternoon high tea and two different potable of tea with little brew timers !. It's the third time we have been to Colechester and although there are plenty of "tea rooms" there can only be one like Jacqueline's. 1940s decor and music. Warm welcome, attentive staff. Not expensive
