Great Tearoom with contemporary interior design. Ellen talked us through selection of teas, sandwiches which were delicious. Great fun teapots. The scones amazing light with fruit and plain available-best ever. Too full for macaroons and cakes so took them home in great doggy bags. Definitely comeback, thank you Ellen great service.

Fantastic afternoon tea at the George. Catered so well for gluten free. The herbal tea actually tastes beautiful. The staff make you feel like your visiting friends. Just lovely. Will be back for sure.

Lovely afternoon tea every part of it was so tasty and the cakes were so imaginative. Lovely staff very accommodating as we had a toddler with us who they chatted throughout the time. Would highly recommend.

The Afternoon tea is a must from here. We had the Christmas one and it was lovely very sweet so took a while to get through it all. Beautifully decorated inside and the staff are lovely and very helpful.

Thank you very much to the staff at The George Tea Room for accommodating my friends baby shower. From the quick correspondence when booking the tea, the delicious food and the fantastic staff who were so attentive with top ups of tea. Followed by drinks in the adjoining pub. Very tasty and the sweet items were very creative, loved the strawberry cheesecake in the shape of a strawberry!

Me and my partner went for tea for 2 at the george today and was absolutely amazing I went out my comfort zone and tried food I wouldn't of normally even thought of trying and it was absolutely amazing. Food was delicious and very filling drinks were nice and the stuff we couldnt manage to eat at the time we was offered boxes / tubs to take the food items home with us 1000% perfect customer service and the one lady that consistently served us (carla) was so lovely and friendly highly recommended and will definitely be going back once babys born.
