What amazing knowledge Aaron and Mac have truly a fantastic night
Had a lovely visit to the taproom, tried a Bao with beef brisket which was nice, as well as obviously trying a variety of beers! What I particularly liked was that you could get a tasting rack of 3 x third pints and thus try a selection of beers you perhaps wouldn't otherwise try.
Following some of the social media, it looks like they are adding a few more menu items / special food days, so will be keeping an eye on those!

Great selection of craft beers, more of their own brews coming on line shortly. Friendly staff who are well informed of all the current rotation of beers. Food looks great although we were not eating we were given a selection of roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings on the house, washed down with a int of Deya Hazy IPA , faultless 👌🏻
Great selection of craft beer from new England hazy and juicy IPAs to creamy stout, awesome vibe and décor with friendly staff and fair prices. Worth a visit for any craft beer enthusiast.
Really nice place. The staff were friendly and helpful and the beer was fantastic. Only nipped for a quick pint whilst the other half went shopping and was not disappointed.
The 'Great Journey Begins' pale ale was delightfully hoppy and refreshing
Good place, good food, good service.. location wise is easy to find as it is right in the heart of Colchester Town.. parking is bit tricky but i guarantee you wont regret the experience you get..

Absolutely love this place, best place to drink if you like your home brewed ales and Ipa. Plus they always have good sours and stouts plus lager. If Jamie is ever on shift he's your man and will find you the perfect pint. 10 out 10 can't ask for a better bar staff outstanding service!
