We stopped here after visiting Little Moreton Hall with our two children for an early dinner. The service was very welcoming and friendly and the food was absolutely delicious! Fresh and cooked to perfection. The children's portions were generous and they really enjoyed it too! We hadn't been here before but would definitely come back, highly recommend!

Visited the place for dinner, booked online. Service was faultless and very professional throughout the night, food has been very well presented and with a great flavour, will definitely return. Staff friendly and on sight all the time, not waited to long for anything. T-bone steak, small stroganoff, fudge cake and creme brulee are presented in the pictures, also tried the naan and the pork fillet for starters and everything was really nice. P.S- Feedback for the owners/manager (may want to consider upgrading the cutlery as they are Greene King type. Nothing wrong with this but they look a bit cheap, and the place is a bit more outstanding)

Had such a lovely evening at The Brownlow. Both the food and the service was exceptional with a huge thank you to Neavah (my apologies if the spelling is wrong), she was so friendly and looked after us for the duration of our stay! Thank you team!

Managed to sneak in early on a Friday lunchtime. This place looks like a popular spot. Steak and grills are the speciality, but we both really fancied the blue cheese burger. We were not disappointed. The burger was huge, with two (home made) high quality, juicy beef patties. There was a ton of (amazing) thick crispy bacon, and the caramelised onions were a nice touch. The burger was topped with just the right amount of blue cheese. On the side were nice homemade chips, coleslaw and onion rings . This was a fantastic burger. If they can show this much love to a burger, the rest of the menu must be fantastic. We will definitely return.

The Brownlow is typical Cheshire! Interior design is classy, with some lovely big booths, a conservatory dining area and bar tables for something less formal. Food was good, if a little under seasoned, with some interesting South African influences (Bobotie Spring Rolls are DELICIOUS!). The main menu is supplemented by specials. Service was friendly but a little slow when we were there (a very busy Monday lunchtime, told you it was typical Cheshire! 😂) Definitely worth checking out. Parking is quite limited when it's busy, there is some roadside parking on the lane but just the one disabled spot.

Food was absolutely brilliant Special lamb rump was one of the best I’ve had Service wasn’t the best but the quality of the food made up for it They will need to step up the game when pecks take over the bluebell which should give this place a bit of a needed shake up

So travelled from Manchester to meet a friend who travelled from Winsford as the reputation for this place was high. Walking through the door I was greeted by Nicole, with a smile and got shown to the table. She returned 5 minutes later to take a drink order. 10 minutes later my friend arrived and it was the same again. Allowed to get seated and Nicole took his drinks order. Once we were ready our order was taken and we didn't wait too long for our starters, which I had the cheesy garlic bread, and it didn't disappoint, once finished the table was cleared and fresh cutlery and napkins were placed. Mains turned up I had the carpet bagger which was cooked to absolute perfection. Once finished the table was again cleared and fresh drinks ordered. About 20 minutes we ordered deserts which again were placed, again with fresh cutlery and napkins not longvafter ordering. Creme brulè for me and sticky toffee pudding for my friend. And again, didn't disappoint. Nicole was very efficient, chatty and plenty of smiles, the other servers were very young, but professional and also plenty of smiles. It's good to see such a nice and busy place actually employ young generation staff. I would STRONGLY recommend a visit because you will not be disappointed I'll be back!! Eddy

A great place to go for a great meal. I've been a number of times in the last 13 years and it has never disappointed. The building is well presented, the staff are polite and efficient, the furniture and fittings are high quality, and most of all, the food is really good. I recommend booking ahead as they can get really busy but we stopped in on the off chance and squeezed ourselves in. They are a steakhouse so they pride themselves in their beef dishes but this isn't just the cuts, their burgers are also very good indeed, and the rest of the food always looks amazing too. Today, I had a lager - all options were from local breweries. I had a 'burger bleu' which was a cheese & bacon burger made with stilton. The pattie was moist and tasty and I could see whole mustard seeds in it so it had been created with passion. The bun was toasted and the onion rings were amazing - deep fried to perfection with a crispy batter around a softened onion slice, triple cooked chips and a small bowl of coleslaw finished the dish and for anyone that likes them, there was half of a massive gherkin. I don't like them so can't comment on it, I just left it. My partner had the roast of the day which was delicious too. She was served a very generous hunk of slow braised shoulder of beef together with a large but fluffy and soft Yorkshire pudding, some delicious braised red cabbage (not pickled from a jar as you get in some other local establishments), armadillo roasties (crispy in the outside, soft in the middle), chantenay carrots, a generous portion of mashed potato and some creamed veg and some yummy gravy with finely sliced green veg. The little'un had a kids meal with chicken goujons and triple cooked chips and beans which she also loved.
