Love this pub and food is lovely. No longer open in the day in the week except from midday friday. The selection of beers is impressive and they shows sports and movies on their big screen. Eaten here a few times and the food is delicious and good portions. The staff are always lovely
A marvellous pub. Great decor, an eclectic choice of furniture from what appears to be house clearances and charity shops, purchased for comfort rather that complementing the style. Fantastic beer, wonderful atmosphere, loads of space. I can highly recommend the steak and kidney pie with mash, peas and gravy.
Dropped into this lovely rustic place that is full of character for a coffee on the last May Bank Holiday weekend. It had a really lovely atmosphere, just what someone trying to escape the city needs. The staff member that served me was a nice guy and very welcoming. From my experience I'd highly recommend the place.
Been a couple of times recently and it's been very pleasant. A really nice comfortable pub/bar in a great location. A fantastic range of drinks that suit every need and a food offering that ticks a lot of boxes.
The team were super friendly and welcoming, even on a busy new years eve (early evening) and we felt very relaxed and at home with out two little kids too which was great. Nice to find somewhere the parents can enjoy a drink whilst the kids are catered for also. There's a kids food menu which was good also with our little ones having chicken strips, chips and peas...they loved it.
Will definitely be heading back in the new year.
6 adults. 2 children and 3 big dogs descended on this restaurant/bar today. We were greeted with a warm welcome and bowl of water for the dogs. The choice of beers were phenomenal and the food delicious. You could tell even the dips were homemade. It was definitely excellent value for money and we will certainly make a return trip in due course. Thank you.
Great chilled atmosphere and excellent selection of drinks on offer. Food was really nice too, just missing a few items on the tapas side but understandable as it was really busy! Will be back again soon.
Had a great meal here - 4 of us. 3 x pie & mash + 1 mixed meat & cheese platter. All exceptionally good - would definitely come back. Next week new menu - tapas etc. Worth trying. Can't comment on extensive beer menu but wine was good !!
Not a big fan of the trendy beer and cider brands but that's just my taste buds giving their two pence worth.
The venue itself is great friendly efficient staff and nice atmos will visit again.
Always a brilliant selection of beer on draft, in the fridge in bottles and cans and expert advice if you're not sure what to try. Live music and great tapas and sandwiches too. Plus it's dog friendly! The family pooch can come too!
Lovely venue, great selection of beers, didn't have the pleasure of trying their tapas, but will certainly return to check it out. Met up with a friend for a drink, and nice ambience to the place, it had started to fill up as they were having a'movie night' and the smell of popcorn was very tempting!
