Popped in after dropping my wife at the airport. Place (no pun intended) was very busy and I can see why.
Great food, great service and great value. I had a kebab and my son had a burger. Both were delicious.

We use Mario's regularly, good fish and chips, decent portions and efficient service. Sure, you may get 'better' at the coast, but no complaints with this being my local!

The only chippy in Congleton i go to. Friendly, helpful staff. Portions are massive for lunchtime at work, just want to sleep after.

The best chippy in town! I have been a customer of Mario's Fish Bar for over 4 years. The food is very tasty! The kebabs are my favourite, oh so yummy...
Chips are homemade and not frozen like other places. Overall is very good value for money! Service is excellent and very quick. Always a busy place, so yeah, they are doing something right! The staff is very polite and will always serve with a smile! So lucky to have it in the area!

Been going here nearly 3 years now, the food is generally good although sometimes the chips are a bit under done. You certainly get good portions for your money. The thing that lets it down is the service, the women serving can either be very friendly or downright rude, I’ve unfortunately experienced and witnessed both. Also had comments made about me being late for my click and collect when I was only a few mins behind, but had to stand for over 5 mins while the only person serving chinwagged with an extremely indecisive customer. Just completely unprofessional, but unfortunately it’s my local. Has to be said, Hightown Fish and Chip shop has just as good food but better customer service.

I've given a 5* review on a portion of chips I purchased as it was my first visit to this place.
Very impressed with the shop as very clean & seemed organised and the chips were lovely as not greasy & a good portion for £2.40
Will have to return & try other items on the menu.

You know, if you like chips you'll probably like it... I found the chips were always below the standard of other chips in the area, however i put that down to personal preference, they're still very nice, the staff aren't rude, they get you done quick, they still operate covid safe, which is great!

Nice chips and very pleasant staff and the place looked a very clean looking chip shop. There’s car parking outside of the chip shop which is always nice. I forgot to take a photo 😂 but it was good food and average pricing. I will be calling in the next time I’m in the area and need refuelling!
