Myself, and two special friends, my honorary god-daughters, came for a weekend birthday break. We had the most fantastic time at your beautiful hotel. The hotel, grounds, swimming pool, food was high class. All the staff were helpful and very attentive. We went for an afternoon swim in the pool and had coffee in the bar area before dinner. The 3 course dinner was a most delightful experience of fine dining. I have visited good restaurants and hotels over many years and our meal was one of the best, if not the best, I have ever had. Each course was very flavoursome and beautifully presented. A delicate blend of tastes within each course. I had pre ordered Lobster Thermidor for one of my friends and my other friend had the Wood Pigeon. They both stated the meal was the best that they had ever had. I am a vegetarian and there was a vegetarian option on the menu. The head waiter stated that they also had a further option of a Garden Vegetable Risotto which I chose and it was delicious. A very good wine list and coffee to finish a sumptuous meal. Breakfast was also high quality as I love fresh fruit and yoghurt and a cooked breakfast. My friends were equally impressed with their meal. A choice of breads and delicious marmalade was enjoyed by all of us. Two old friends, who live in Norwich, had contacted me and arranged to come over on the Sunday morning to see me. They were made welcome and we were served coffee in the lounge. Thank you for making our visit a wonderfully memorable experience. I would highly recommend your hotel and we hope to return.

David and I came yesterday ,for my belated Birthday Afternoon Flowery Tea.It was a beautiful journey from Cambridgeshire. When we arrived we were shown round all rooms, which we could choose where we wanted to sit. Very quirky, homely, relaxing place. We chose to sit in The Orangery) Conservatory. Out tea was soon served, and it didn't dissapoint. Lovely Jasmine Tea,with fresh flowers in lovely glasses. Food was delicious. Pot of tea lovely. Another couple sat in where we were, and they came not far from where we live. Lovely to chat,in lovely place. A very relaxing atmosphere,it felt like we were far away from the maddening crowd, yet it was just round the corner .Best of both worlds.Staff very friendly.Thankyou ,we will be back for a longer stay.

Got bought an afternoon tea for Christmas so we booked to have it at The Grove and we were thrilled we did. Really excellent service. Lovely building with lots of places to sit to choose from. The actual food was delicious and my husband got a fresh cheese scone as well which he really enjoyed. It was a lovely afternoon. Would highly recommend the afternoon tea. The 2 staff members that served us were really friendly and attentive. Thank you so much

We came for a 2 day break in October and pleased with the location which was near the town and beach yet nicely secluded in lovely grounds. Very helpful and friendly service. We were in an outside cottage room which was roomy, clean and comfortable. I can't say anything was outstanding but for the price we have no complaints. Unfortunately the weather was terrible so we couldn't take advantage of the outside spaces and I am sure in the Summer it comes into it's own.

It was an excellent stay, unfortunately our group could only be at "The Grove" for one night. I am sure one or the other will return at some later point in time. Beautiful rooms, very nice house, great breakfast, even the small one at a very early time in the morning was really good. Thank you very much.

Our first time staying here, and it has been the best weekend break I've had, so nice here. From every little detail, on we was greeted and quickly checked in and shown to our room, we stayed in room 11, and be definitely book this again. Entering the room wow very nice, a bottle of bubbles greeted us that was a nice touch. But everything about this room is stunning, from the bathroom lay out to the TV snug room to the massive comfy bed. If your thinking of staying here then think no more, there's plenty to do, a 10 min walk to cromer town, either by the beach walk or via the main Rd, a little woodland to explore, the lighthouse to explore too, and the stunning scenery, thank you The Grove fir looking after us. Amazing 👏

We came for dinner Saturday night, the place is absolutely magical. However it lost it sparkle when you look around and everyone is on there phone as they don’t provide proper paper menu’s. Food was fabulous and quick to arrive. Would go again but hopefully the proper menus and table service comes back 😊

Are at the Sundown, excellent food but wish ordering via your phone had now been encouraged so much. Traditional menus are still preferable. If you think that the bench seats, which suits the setting perfectly, might be a bit hard you may be wise to take a cushion too. Lovely food and worth a visit.

We stayed in the Sunburst room which was lovely, peaceful and clean, plenty of tea bags and milks, with the most comfortable bed. The staff were exceptional and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. Plus there is a lovely path through the woods which leads to a cliff walk with panoramic views, only 10 mins into the centre of Cromer. This is a real gem and we would definitely visit again. Thank you The Grove you made our stay truly wonderful.

Stayed here for 4 nights as a birthday getaway. Everything was excellent, the staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel had lots of little luxury details that made our stay feel special. The room (8) was gorgeous and spacious. We ate onsite both at the restaurant and sundown, and the food was delicious. The property feels like a welcoming and intimate family home in the country, which was exactly what we were looking for. Such a peaceful and relaxing stay. Cannot wait to find an excuse to go back!!

Booked a table online and arrived to find it fully booked. The management were extremely accommodating in obtaining the first available space and ensuring our booking was honoured despite a small blip with the technology. Food to die for, service excellent and easy to use menu ordering from smart phones. Good value, lovely surroundings and going again next week with friends this time! Thank you.
