I love Derby Theatre and I'm so pleased it's reopened. Fingers crossed that the programme they put in there continues to attract audiences because, in my opinion, that has been its downfall in the past. Both Tony Blair the musical and Brassed Off were excellent, particularly the former.

Had a brilliant night, but seats so small and I'm only a size 12. The staff were wonderful. X

The product of Brassed Off was brilliant, the only minor issue was that the coffee shop downstairs was very busy with people standing around whilst the upstairs seating area was closed until a short time before the production started. It would be a much better experience for people if the upstairs seating area was made available earlier during busy times

I’ve visited a few times over the last year, with most recently coming to see “Brassed Off”. The theatre is very easy to get to, with many places to park within the shopping centre or local area. The theatre itself has a downstairs cafe, & bar upstairs. In terms of seating, I don’t think you would be disappointed anywhere you sit, as the theatre is relatively small compared to others.

Great show. Really comfortable theatre. Not too big. Really good view of the stage from everywhere. Plenty of legroom. Decent bar. Spot on.

A lovely venue in the shopping centre in Derby. Been a few time to see various plays and it's always a very comfortable temperature and the seats are quite spacious. The only downside is no middle aisle so if you're in the middle getting in and out is quite a hastle sometimes.

Went to see The Verdict on Thursday 22nd June. I’d never been to Derby Theatre before. It was excellent. Very bright and clean and it was air conditioned. Bar service was good and the play as extremely good, very well acted and I was very impressed with the sets. Can’t comment on parking as we parked on the outskirts of Derby and walked in. Would have used public transport but the last bus went to early to see the whole play, same with trains. Maybe something the council should look at to encourage people in to see live shows.

Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It is a lovely, modern and airy space. Beautiful auditorium and, for a theatre, comfy seats. Excellent sound, lighting and scenery. As this production was hearing impaired friendly there were subtitles projected on a screen, the performance was signed throughout and was thoroughly enjoyed by both the cast and enthusiastic audience of all ages. Several cast members were deaf, including a best friend of mine, and after the show he was full of enthusiasm for Derby Theatre, and all the support and thought, that went into this production.
There is ample car parking, with lifts to the ground floor of the shopping centre where the Theatre is situated. Also lifts within the theatre and toilet facilities on both floors. Refreshments and bar available, local ice cream a bonus!

We love Derby theater. Perfect size. Good views from any seat. Intimate enough to feel like you're part of the production sound quality. Excellent! We saw Wind in the willows. Just an awesome show full of great performances and beautiful music. A real strong summary vibe
