Good level of service, nice food, friendly and helpful staff.
Ideal for larger groups, they have plenty of seating.
They do a decent carvery here.
Service can be slow at times, but they do keep you informed.
We've been here around 25+ times over the last 17 years. It's local for my wife's family, who have been coming here for over 25 years.
Most visits have been spot on, good food and service, only occasional gripes, and they will usually sort those out if you speak to them.
We took out £40 with us and with that me and my partner both got a carvery and we both had two drinks. It is great value for the money you spend. We really enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend to family and friends looking for a simple meal. We sore a few burgers go by, definitely something worth trying they were massive and the Pizza's looked really good too!
First time we’ve been and really enjoyed it. Great carvery, pleasant table setting and atmosphere. Nice friendly staff. On the whole good value for money.

Had dinner here the other week and good service and good food with a decent sized car park, a play area to keep the kids happy outside to the back. :) lots of pizzas, burgers and carvery to choose from. They tend to close early so it's not a open very late place.
Carvery is nicely cooked and competitively priced. Queues are not normally too bad. Cauliflower cheese is always very nice, but shame that it’s now frozen Yorkshire puds.
Lovely food nice and hot not too busy when we went just would of preferred a different table instead of right by the kitchen door.
The food was really good, service from the staff was brilliant and the pub/restaurant has a nice and cosy feel to it. Definitely recommend a visit.

Went here to meet our son for his 30th bday on Wednesday first time we have been. The staff was brilliant thankyou to the lady who was really rushed off her feet but didn't mind me asking if she could light the candles on my sons cake . You know who you are thankyou for your patience and kindness I know how busy you were . We will definitely come again the carvery was lovely , and the pub was very clean ❤️
