Delightful Desserts

This place is amazing! Tasty, friendly and exceptional service! My vouchers had gone out of date due to lockdown, they honoured them no problem! Excuse my photography skills. I also knocked it about a bit. But I wanted to share it's best cake I've had and the protein pancakes were the bomb! And a good old protein shake was the bomb too! Ordered to pick up and was warm and lovely! Only thing needed is the calorie info, but it's a dessert shop, so do I wanna know hahahaa

Ordered 3 scoops of ice cream x 4 times. When I got home opened the bag to find one missing. Rang straight away but no answer, understandably because it was after last orders. When I got through to someone they denied it but reluctantly agreed to put it right. When I went to collect, a round trip of 9 miles, I wasn't expecting a full blown apology for getting the order wrong , but a simple "sorry about that" would have been nice. Nothing wrong with the quality of the desserts but I'd advise them to ask for a refund from "the charm school"

Ordered at 20:55 and was told 15-20 minutes delivery. Instead took over an 1hr15 to arrive. When arrived pancakes were cold. Ordered lotus pancake stack which was a small portion compared to normal and the pancakes were so flat and more like crepes were layered on top of each other, also ordered cookies and cream pancakes which were normal but cold... But missing caramel sauce which I requested. Overall the service from the delightful deserts was rubbish and the delivery was just as bad.

Very unhygienic, we requested the table be wiped and the staff obliged only to leave behind chocolate left over from the previous customers twice over on 2 different tables. Once the table was wiped it stunk as if wiped over with a stale smelly cloth. We witnessed staff using their clothing to polish spoons then put them on trays to be sent out to customers. The ice cream was probably the lowest cheapest quality that the owners could possibly find on the market. Over all rating this place with a 1 star is generous, if there was a minus 5 * rating available that still may have been generous. Probably the worst eat out experience ever. On the wall there is a sign that says count memories not calories! Well this memory is one that’ll haunt me for ever. Nightmare.

First time ever I had been to any dessert shop. I took my daughter for a birthday treat. The 're was 1 member of staff there which is understandable as it was very quiet but she wasn't very pleasant. I had to find a menu myself but she did say drinks on another menu. She made no effort to be chatty as I work on a shop I think it's nice to make a bit of conversation with customers. I found it awkward. Ordered our desserts and didn't have to wait long for them to arrive. No enjoy your food .....nothing. stayed for 30 mins as I found the experience and atmosphere flat. I really recommend some.training on customer service. What should have been a nice treat for my 9 year olds birthday turned out to be disappointing. The waffles were nice though.
