Not open as much as id like but thats what makes the food all the more special. Best chips ive had in a long time. All cooked fresh to order. My advice is to go fill your boots whilst the doors open👍

First time I have been in since the new owners took over, and the fish and chips were probably the best I have had also at a decent price. I would certainly recommend 👌

This has got to be one of the best and well established tradional fish and chip shops in the north east spotlessly clean ... fish and chips was delicious battered sausage definatley worth a try friendly staff and fast service you wint be dissapointed

Excellent quality food, competitive prices, just make sure you are ready for the generous sized portions, I was impressed with the size of the cod, may try smaller serving next time, will certainly visit again.

I would like to apologise to Elaine winter for her lunch been 90 min on a Friday lunchtime we only have 1 driver to deliver sometime 25 to 30 houses from shincliff to kello west cornfoth to Sherburn and with only having 1 staff member serving the delivery, customers, and pick ups it isn’t easy. Fridays are very busy. The Friday your talking about we stopped taking delivery’s at 12.15 because of the amount we had in. Again all I can do is apologise . Kind regards kevin ( owner )

Ordered by car phone, waited with mask on outside for less than 5 minutes. Paid by card home in 4 minutes. We both enjoyed cod and chips.
