Lovely pulled pork roll and lemon cake. All washed down with a nice mug of tea. Will be a great place to come in the summer and sit outside with the dogs.

What a lovely dog-friendly restaurant! Staff came out with a treat for Dave right away! Breakfast was delicious. Bacon and sausage roll with hashbrowns, or the full Barge breakfast with everything; it was all yummy. Our friend ordered poached eggs on toast, and a lovely young lady came out and apologised; she felt she left them in too long and was making him more. Best service ever! Instead of feeding hard poached, she cooked more. Perfect location next to the canal and pretty barge boats. Highly recommended. You won't be disappointed!

Lovely cafe to pop by before or after a walk. We had two toasties served within 10-15 minutes even though the place was packed. The personnel always happy to help and polite. Prices reasonable, for two big toasties served with crisps, one cherry Bakewell slice and two cappuccinos £12 isn't too bad. Definitely choose to sit in a table next to the window as the views are quite nice. Looking forward to visit again in better weather within summer for a coffee ❤️

My wife and I often visit here on a lunch break. They have really nice seating indoors and out and have consistently good quality food and coffees.

Really nice place. Food is good and reasonably priced. A choice of Gluten free items on the menu, too. It was very busy when we went there about midday so we had to wait a bit for our order. There is extra seating out the front and to the side. I would recommend it as a place to go for a coffee or breakfast/lunch

It was a lovely Sunday morning so we went for breakfast, we basically got there as soon as it opened and glad we did. Within the hour it was heaving. Beautiful location a little let down by a waft of something nasty every so often. If you were inside it'd be no problem. The food is locally sourced and very tasty, and the staff are wonderful. It is dog friendly up to a point in that you can take your dog inside.

Quite noisy inside, so I turned my hearing aids down low. It's a very pleasant relaxing atmosphere. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was brought to my table in a reasonable time and was well presented and was very tasty. I will return when next in the area.

A cute, lakeside cafe that offers some really tasty baked goods such as cakes, breads, and savoury snacks. In addition to its delightful menu. The staff were chatty and friendly, and there was little waiting time for food or drinks. This would be a lovely place to meet for lunch with friends or family, on a beautiful summer's day. Only downsides for me, it's a bit of a distance from where I am in Bedford (but that can't be helped). And the cafe, obviously popular, was quite busy when I was in there, and there isn't tonnes of space to go around so it could get a bit tight in there and maybe a bit noisy. I would recommend going!
