Little Italy

Absolutely worth the trip to Eastbourne , we came across this Little place as it is just around the corner from the Congress Theatre 🎭. If you haven’t been to this restaurant you definitely need to give it a whirl xx The food was outstanding , delicious and great portion size , staff are welcoming and friendly, we managed to get a table even though we hadn’t booked in advance so thank you for that . Shall definitely be back soon

Very nice fresh pizza Hawaiian with extra anchovies ( extra £3 for the anchovies which I thought was a bit steep) so 4 stars not 5. A little thin in the middle so needed a knife and fork to eat it as it came apart easily. Takeaway prices are good for a proper pizza not the cheapo plastic pizza shops you get everywhere. Would definitely use again.

I called into this place one night when I had been to the theatre. It was gone 10 and the menu was limited to just pasta dishes. The place was quiet at that time with about 4 other tables in use. The staff were friendly and the food was served pipping hot and very quickly. I had meat balls and spaghetti.

Good food, reasonable prices. Pizza dough made in-house and cooked in a clay pizza oven. Pizza is great, though a little oily (not a criticism at all, personally I like it like that way, but some may not). It's very thin crust (again, I like this but it's a personal preference). Bolognese is good but the children's portion was rather small and our son was still hungry afterwards. Carbonara is fine but not like other carbonaras I've had. Less smooth but fine. The atmosphere and decor is great; very authentic Italian. Much better than the canteen style Italian restaurants nearby. The service... well this is why I didn't give it a five star rating. It took them half an hour to come to our table to ask what we wanted to drink, and another twenty minutes to get the food. Whilst not expecting fast food, this felt like a long time as we had young children to get to bed. If you're here for a great evening with wine and friends, then no problem, but if you don't have an hour or two to spare, you might want to check how busy it is before booking.
