Attended funeral there, must say best buffet I've ever had at a sad occasion.

Food is always amazing.. never ever have I had a bad meal or drink in there. Staff are always very friendly and very easy to chat with and get along with. Locals decent enough, some seem stuck up.. but come from that area, people tend to be! But as a whole, I have never been able to fault the food/drink/service! Ever..

Brilliant morning watching the football and having a slap-up breakfast for our large group at a fair price. The staff were very patient and good humoured with all our complicated orders!
Highly recommended.
Please note that dogs are only allowed in the garden, though.

We went for Sunday Lunch and it was fabulous. Everything about the food was perfect.
We sat in the large pub garden.
The staff were very friendly and polite and the service was excellent.
We've started going quite regularly because it's the perfect spot for a drink and food.

Such a lovely place to visit, staff were very welcoming, food was amazing, we went with friends, and had Roast Chicken, Roast Beef and Pork Belly, all had Yorkshire Puddings added. The puddings were just as tasty as the Roasts, and the staff service was top notch! We will definitely be going back.

While on a short break in Eastbourne we ate at The Ship twice. Very relaxing pub and the food is excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely return.

Amazing staff, very nice place.
Tasty starters: hummus and small fish. Pate a bit too bitter for me.
Jacked potato, delicious. Fish and chips very tasty.
Highly recommended.
