We had a lovely dinner here before taking part in the pub quiz. The food was delicious and the quiz was a lot of fun, and only cost £1 each to enter. The staff were very nice and the inside is so cozy. The menu is so big and there are lots of vegetarian options - the halloumi burger was delicious. Thanks for a lovely night :)

this place is 10/10! the food and chilled atmosphere is amazing! I had a gluten free burger with bacon and stilton and it’s the best burger i’ve ever had! :)

Excellent pub and fabulous food! Came back for the 2 nights we stayed here because it was that good. Our server Sue is amazing, so knowledgable about the menu and the area in general and so smiley and lovely. Travelled down from Manchester for a charity hike but would definitely visit again!

If I could give this lovely place 10 stars I would. My friend had her 70th birthday lunch here today. There was fourteen of us seated in the bright and airy conservatory. As soon as I came in I was welcomed by a very smiley member of staff. …

Nothing but average I’m afraid and we have had much better experiences at the pub in the past. Sunday roasts were flooded with gravy, calamari were like mini fish fingers and staff seemed like they couldn’t be bothered to serve us. Very disappointed considering how much we paid.

Lovely pub in Meads Village which appears to be the chi-chi part of Eastbourne. It's near the start of the South Downs Way / Beachy Head path, so was welcome after I'd walked it. Nice and quiet in the afternoon. Would go again. Food looks great but I didn't eat.
