Me and my fiancé visited Cosmos yesterday, and we loved it. Every dish was really delicious, and I actually enjoyed dishes I don't normally like (such as the dumplings). Although there may be less variety than other Chinese buffet restaurants, the quality of the food is so much better. The staff were also very friendly, which made the experience better. The only thing I could criticise were the desserts. I wasn't a huge fan of the dessert options, as they were quite bland. Other than that, it is a great place to eat and it is very affordable. It's not surprising that they've been open since 2003 :)
All the staff were lovely and happy.
The food was exception. And so much varity and wasnt empty for long.
Great price and will definitely recommend to anyone who loves a variety of Chinese food... and its all you can eat so even better xx
L: My Grandma's friend brought me to the all you can eat outlet in Reading and it was £11.99 pp on a Saturday afternoon.
Loved the variety of different from around the world. Mainly Asian like noodles meat, indian and Thai curry as well as western food like pizza, chips and fried chicken. Considering that a noodle dish costs on average £7-9 in England. This place is cheap! Dessert was also available as well as water at no extra cost. To get a bottomless soft drink cup, it was £3.99 which is also good value as you can have as many refills as you like. The downside is that you have to vacate the table by a certain time, but is understandable as they need turnover to make profit.
I thoroughly enjoyed the many dishes that were available and was able to satisfy my Asian food cravings that I've been having for 2 months.
Would definitely come here again, especially on a Sunday as only special dishes are available then.
Well what can I say....I brought my wife here for Mother's Day with our 3 sons and they had really made the effort to decorate the restaurant for the occasion which was a nice touch.
The staff were all extremely friendly from when we arrived to them talking to us and interacting with our boys making them laugh.
The food was lovely with plenty of choice to choose from and the prices were very reasonable. £14 for an adult on a Sunday and just £7 for children.
We travelled over an hour and a half to visit Eastbourne for the day and we're so glad we chose this restaurant.
We'll definitely be returning and recommend a visit as you won't be disappointed.
It's the home of Cosmo and where it all began.
Due to the limited space in this establishment don't compare it with others that you may have tried.
The concept is broadly the same.
This week we have had lunch on Tuesday then returned Thursday evening for dinner
Overall the food was very well presented and cooked perfectly, A good selection of desserts and ice cream to round it off.
The normal alcoholic drinks and wines all fairly priced.
Service was faultless on both occasions Staff are attentive and very polite
I've seen lots of comments both good and bad posted on various sites and all I can suggest is that you go and see for yourself
Its not going to cost you a lot of money to find out.
I really enjoy the food here. I love the choice and the quality if the food us good. I tend to stick to the Chinese dishes but they do sushi and a curry too. Good to have some nice sweet treats too as well as fruit but particularly love the toffee apple pieces.
