I called in for lunch after a cycle in The Pentlands with my middle Grandson. Bacon rolls and hot chocolate were delicious, the service was excellent and staff were friendly!

Arrived here after a hike, got red pepper, pesto and hummus sandwich that was delicious and staff so friendly. Definitely will be back.

Nice quaint cafe in the quiet old part of Balerno. Good selection of cakes and snacks. Coffee was ok . Recommend the bacon and black pudding rolls . Staff very friendly and has a nice atmosphere. Seats both inside and outside. Plenty of parking around the back.

Lovely cuppa & scone here to warm me up after watching Balerno Float Parade. Best scone I've had in a long time. Food being served looked delicious too.

People of Balerno you are so lucky having a place like this on your doorstep as we visited this place today and what a find. Lovely decor, great welcome from all the staff to us and our dog, delicious food and not just your run of the mill stuff. I had sweet potato soup with ginger and chilli and a warm cheese Scone. The soup was wonderful and my wife had a crepe with warm Nutella sauce, real cream, not the squirty kind and a thinly sliced banana which she said was the best crepe she had ever had. First time here and definitely won't be our last. 1st class 👍

Popped in today for lunch. Very friendly welcome by what I guess were the owners. We both ordered a flat white coffee and a waffle each. The coffee was delicious, just what we needed, and the waffles were excellent. The portions are large and they are made fresh with excellent ingredients. Plenty local people arrived while we ate and the warm friendly chat the owners and locals had shows this place is very popular with the village.
It was a chance visit for us and I'm very glad we popped in.
