Teuchters Bar And Bunker

Always love a good Teuchters evening. Very chilled, non-pretentious, high-standard local pub. Ross has everything under control, and every table is attentively waited on without being overbearing. The food is delicious, the only thing I'd say would be that the mac and cheese sauce was a little "floury".

What can we say about Teuchters except GO THERE! We wandered in one night unassumingly looking for a dram and ended up having a flight of single malt islays that were delicious, so we came back the next night for dinner for a sausage and mash and platter that were to die for. The beers were just perfect and the ambiance in the bottom floor was cozy and inviting. Sláinte! 🥃 🍻

Arguably the best pub I visited during my stay in Edinburgh (visited 3 times during our stay). Service was excellent. Staff were on the case, both at the bar and on the floor. Tables were cleared and cleaned at every changeover. I didn't eat in the pub but all the food I saw was well presented and plentiful on the plate. Well worth a visit.

I ate there two days in a row, it was great! Not expensive, and high quality food. Waiters were very nice too. Food portions are huge. I tried their Cullen skink, it was marvelous. A small mug is too much as a side because it's big and heavy. I also tried the haggis, it was a big portion, and tasted great. However, the fish pie was medium, it didn't impress me. For dessert the sticky toffee was one of the best I ever tried 😋 You could also try different whiskey flights (3 per option). I tried the highland flight, it was nice, but too light tasted for me. Didn't have a complex enough taste.

Been here second time and as always there whisky collection blew my mind, they have wide range of whisky from across all the region and the beer taps are also excellent. All the people working in there are so cool and lovely. Importantly you can find the poster of Edinburgh pub crawl just for £5. Overall experience at this bar was 10/10
