This is a restaurant you need to try. We're already looking to book for Manchester in October, but to no avail. The food and service were outstanding. Our waiter "martin" couldn't do enorher for us, all the staff seem to work very hard, but still show enthusiasm with their work. The food tastes as good as it looks in the photos. We opted for wine with each course, and I'm glad we did. It just adds to the experience. Hopefully, we'll get to try the new menu in Manchester 🤞
Absolutely wonderful experience. I can't recommend this chef's tasting enough. It was playful, talented and beyond tasty. Wine pairing with each course was an additional experience but not necessary to enjoying each course. Made reservations on an impulse after walking by. Can't believe this place isn't booked weeks in advance. Only small critique is the service seemed rushed & rehearsed. Not as relaxed and organic as many local establishments.
However, it's one of the best chef's tasting we've had to date. At less than $100 per person (without wine pairing) it's well worth it. Definitely would recommend and would go again when the menu changes.

We went here the other night for the 6 course tasting menu and it was one of the best meals we’ve ever had. Delicious food, paired perfectly with wines, excellent service and the restaurant is really beautiful on the inside. All around definitely recommend this restaurant for food and service!
I have no idea how this places manages to offer such amazing food and service at such an awesome price. This is my third visit and it never fails to disappoint. Every course is to die for and matched with the wines is just perfection. I love their ever changing menu and the creativity the creators manage to display. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable and to see the chefs in action is a welcome addition (as well as the ability to thank them personally too!). I was a solo diner too and had lovely chats with the staff before and after courses. Absolutely stunning and why it's not michelin is beyond me. A small dining tip is to book after 9pm and then you can really take a bit more time to enjoy, however everytime i asked for a break it was much obliged but can feel slightly rushed if you have a pre 9pm booking. We always go to The Kitchin in Edinburgh for a tasting menu. This was our first time in Six by Nico and I can safely say it was almost on par with a Michelin star The Kitchin but for fraction of the price. The food was amazing, the staff was really friendly and the atmosphere was amazing.
I came here with my friend for dinner and I would highly recommend. The food came out very quick and the mixture of flavours in each dish complimented each other.

We received a voucher for 6 by Nico as a Christmas gift and finally got around to trying it out last night. The theme was Lisbon and we really enjoyed all the courses and the matching drinks. Found the experience offers high quality food which slowly fills you up as the courses progress. We were a little worried about being hungry due to the small portions but left feeling pleasantly full.
The atmosphere was vibrant and bustling - really liked that there wasn't any overly loud music. The restaurant was loud enough with people but just so it felt atmospheric and you could still enjoy conversation. Unfortunately, our main waitress seemed to be having a bad day and her interactions felt quite awkward but the other waiting staff who also served us were both warm and engaging. The manager is super efficient and professional. We had some bother with our voucher and it took some time to sort it but he made the process as smooth as possible. Impressive young man who is very good at his job! Overall great evening and for definite we'll be back to try another 6 some other time.
Outstanding place to eat 👌, well priced at £39 for a 6 course tasting menu, will definitely be back
