I just stopped off for a coffee and ended up having a sandwich as well.
I’ll always stop at a Caffè Nero if I can as I like their coffee.
It’s funny though, at a lot of their sites there’s a bit of a lack of maintenance especially in the toilets. It was the case here. The floors were dirty as was the toilet. The sink as well.
Still, the service was good for me and the coffee was great.
Very good espresso! After living in Italy for three months we thought we'd never have good espresso again, outside of Italy. I'm happy to say we were wrong. An Italian woman we met told us that Cafe Nero had good espresso and she was right! We've been there every day since.
Nice corner coffee shop. Clean fast service coffee was good and blueberry muffin was excellent.
Maria is a fantastic Manager so welcoming and efficient. Ably assisted by her excellent team. Intimate cosy ambience for delicious coffee and food.
Highly recommended.
Coffee shops are everywhere and especially with so many chains around I feel most places are very forgettable. There's usually minimal conversation with the staff and once you got your drink, that's it, you're satisfied. So what makes this particular Caffe Nero so good is - Maria. She's bubbly, charismatic and overall just very friendly. If you want a genuine smile with your coffee then this is the place. It just creates a nice atmosphere to enjoy a coffee and cake in.
Well prepared coffee but the place could be cleaner!
This is a comfortable, spacious coffee shop, its staff are attentive, friendly, and fast workers, a massive improvement.
When we moved to Edinburgh from the States, my daughters were disappointed that the Starbucks here wasn't like at home. Caffe Nero has completely filled that void and is our new favorite in town. This is our local location, and we always get great service here.
My youngest loves the peach & raspberry fruit shooter any time of year. I always pick a toasted ham & cheese panini and mint lemonade or luxury hot chocolate depending on the season, and my oldest can rarely pass up the carrot cake. :)
For a chain, Cafe Nero is good.
A surprisingly calm and quiet getaway from the crowds out shopping on Saturday. Quite handy for the bus into town, too. Food and drink the same as any other Caffè Nero. Restroom was clean.
