Numi Food

I don't know why but, some restaurants thinks that it's nice to serve food in a plastic recipients. I think is disgusting. Specially when you sit in. I don't get it. All this plastic showcase, is not only a waste of resources but a very disgusting way to enjoy food. Because that's the thing, the food was Ok (ish) (5/10). Too pricy. Almost £9 (£8.9) just for one of the dishes. That plate of food is not worth £8.9, not even close. I think a fair price will be £6'5, no more than £7 (to be served in the same conditions). We ordered two dishes, braised pork belly and katshu pork and we paid almost £20 quit, with only tab water. I think is not worthy. For that same amount of money, if you go up the road, you can have other options for a better price: 10 to 10 deli (chicken domuda), Mosque kitchen (£10 for the meal or £4'5 for a vegan plate). If you are desperate for food, then go ahead. If you don't mind to wait a little bit more, there's other places far better. Meaby I ordered the wrong dishes, but I specifically asked to the waiter for recommendations and that's what I got. Dissapoiment. But is funny, bacause, the staff was eating a plate of food that was far more appealing that what we ordered. I don't understand. NUMI FOOD, you just need to upgrade to nice ceramic plates, stainless steel cutlery, and more amount of food if you want me to pay what you are asking for. I think the staff was nice. Shy, but nice.

Like the place, very clean, very good service. im so appreciate they do use plastic set during this special period for keeping safe for customers. The food is very authentic as well. really typical Hong Kong dish. Love the place. Will go back soon. Good Luck, we all will be fine. The fresh world will back soon.

The portions were huge, the prices were good too for drinks it was only £3.50 for classic bubble tea, same for my coconut milk tea and as you can see I drank half of it before I thought to take a photo. The staff were really helpful, even when I had to ask how to eat the prawns, will definitely be going back here next time I'm in Edinburgh. Oh and if you can't eat it all they are perfectly fine about taking it home. 10/10

I have ordered food from their official website for a while in this pandemic, the notes I added were completely noticed by them, definitely a good option for daily meals. And I cant understand why the rating here is so low, as a Chinese I can tell that the food is authentic and fresh, highly recommend!

Just ordered two starters and two mains from Numi. Order arrived within half an hour. All the food was fantastic, tasted really fresh. Came in recyclable containers (big plus for us). Portions a great size not large, just right. Really happy with quality of food and feeling satisfied and full. Would recommend highly!
