This is not meant to be a simple review extolling the pleasant evening but a story with a happy ending like in a fairy tale!
I cannot describe in words the pleasure our palate, sight and smell had with all the courses! Trust me is impossible to describe!

This was a unique experience. Luisa was a charming and gracious host, and her dishes based on fresh local seafood were superb. Particular highlights included canapés made with tomato sauce from her father's garden in Sardinia, monkfish with beautiful fresh tomatoes and amazing onion marinated for 60 hrs, and undoubtedly the best panacotta (espresso flavour with a velvety chocolate garnish) I have ever eaten. I felt privileged to be invited into Luisa's flat for a suite of delicious dishes prepared in the adjacent kitchen while we enjoyed a very relaxed atmosphere and truly tasty cuisine. My wife doesn't care for seafood, but she finished all eight seafood courses with gusto - that says it all. Not be missed!
A dinner at Luisa's table was definitely the highlight of our Scotland trip!! Her place was so cute and cozy, and ambience is perfect. The food I could say blew the wind out of my chest. That slow cooked octopus was super unexpected, that dish completely hammered me. Happy to say that this supperclub is a must visit because the experience will not disappoint at all. So so good, you could taste the effort that's being put into preparing the food. Hats off to Luisa and her husband for hosting a fantastic evening. <3
Great first experience for a supper club, thank you very much to Chef Luisa for the amazing food! It was nice to have a variety of fresh seafood (salmon, octopus, squid, sea bass, scallop) prepared in different ways!
Went for a date night with my SO. The food and the wine were absolutely beautiful; we really appreciated the brief descriptions of the dishes and ingredients too. The menu was primarily seafood based, with strong Sardinian roots. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxed evening eating lovingly made food.
P.S. We got a message on the day of reservation asking about food allergies and preferences, which was very thoughtful!
We had dinner here on Thursday. From start to finish the experience was amazing. Luisa is a superb host and she goes the extra mile to make you feel at home, telling you a little bit about herself and what's behind the delicious food in front of you. Each course was a perfect balance between Sardinian and Scottish ingredients. We had 8 courses and left nicely full. It's hard to pick a favourite, we loved them all, from the canapés to the cured salmon with bottarga and fennel, the fish "meatball" on agliata sauce, the fregola with mussels, to the baby squid with orange and lamb lettuce. As a Sardinian that has been living abroad now for 15 years, it's nice to find places like this to make you feel a little bit closer to home. Grazie Luisa e a presto!
What an amazing dining experience.The food was delicious! A combination of local ingredients and ingredients from Sardinia, grown and sent by her parents. Luisa was an amazing hostess. Highlight of the night was the tiramisu…so light and sooooo yummy! If you are looking for an amazing food in a relaxing atmosphere and value for money, you should definitely go there!
How fabulous was this experience. Went on Monday evening - my 1st supper club, my first taste of octopus and every course was magnificent. I was getting full halfway through, even though taster size portions but just couldn't not eat this delicious food. I don't actually have the right words just try for yourself!!! I will definitely return.
No words! Just the best dining experience I have ever had! Luisa was the most caring and attentive hosts. You could just feel she cared about every dish so much! Every ingredient was homemade (literally - olive oil sent from Sardinia made by her dad, extremely tasty melon aperitif made by her mum!). World class dining made with love and care - faultless. Edinburgh’s best kept secret (for how long is the question!) Can’t wait to visit again with as many friends I can muster together at once!
Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic. The food was delicious with Luisa taking full advantage of local ingredients from the sea and ingredients sent from home in Sardinia, grown and created by her parents. We would recommend to anyone.
