Went for a family meal yesterday and what can I say, it was amazing, food was fresh, didn't have to wait long, the portion sizes were very good, being a vegan the choices were very good and not boring either, polite friendly staff. Definitely returning for lunch on my birthday!! Thank you to the staff.
Drawn in by promises of a vegan menu as delicious as the regular one, and they didn't disappoint. A talented chef that can cook and please everyone,. A three course vegan menu with three choices of starter main and desert, in a cosy pub with friendly helpful staff. It was our first visit. First of many :)
Well what can I say. The food here is absolutely superb. Beautiful surroundings and service with a smile 🙂. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals, all cooked from scratch and piping hot. I've always wanted to try the Black Horse and so glad I did. This is a place where I will gladly return to. Would highly recommend to anyone who loves a homemade menu. Plenty of choice - beautifully presented. 10 out of 10

We have started revisiting The Black Horse again after many years away. The new management are trying really hard to encourage the return of old customers and new. I visited the pub today with my wife and friends for breakfast. In summary a very good experience.
The Service. Was prompt and attentive and the staff were polite.
The Food.
A range of breakfasts and breakfast sandwiches on the menu provided a good choice along with drinks.
The Traditional English breakfast was very good with good quality bacon and sausages in stark contrast to recent experiences in other establishments that provide inferior quality. The breakfast was well presented well cooked and tasted just as a traditional breakfast should.
Well done will be a repeat customer.
Beautiful pub inside and very homely . We really enjoyed the food, so nice 🥰really tasty😋😋. The staff and owner is so friendly... A enjoyable evening out was had by all our family. We definitely go back again ❤❤.
I've been to the Black Horse Endon today for lunch with my sister. The food was beautiful. The cheesecake was the best I've ever tasted. 😋 everything was cooked as we asked. The waiter was very good & efficient & very pleasant. Well worth the visit, money well spent. Will definitely be going back for more ☺️
My friend and I attended for the 1st time and had a lovely dining experience. The place was full and we had to park on the road behind the car park. Even though there were so many people in for Sunday lunch, the service was great. We chose Beef and Lamb dinners which were good sized portions so we didn't manage to eat every bit. The meat was very tender and all of the potatoes, veg and Yorrkshire pudding were fresh and delicious. Unfortunately we couldn't manage a pudding so Mandy recommended that we could try a children's size meal next time and then a pudding if we preferred. A few minutes later the landlady, Gina, came over and introduced herself and chatted for a few minutes which we thought was a wonderful gesture and excellent customer service. We will definitely visit again as the entire team were polite and thoughtful and it was so refreshing to have fabulous customer service. We are looking forward to trying other dishes on the extensive menu, Thanks to all the staff.

The black horse is a family favourite go to for us! We recently booked a large family meal of 22 people for our daughter’s 16th birthday. The staff were very accommodating and friendly throughout the whole meal! They couldn’t do enough to ensure our meal ran smoothly! The food was amazing as always and all meals came out not long after each other considering it was a large booking!

I have been visiting The Black Horse for vegan food for 7 years & it never disappoints. The staff were amazing & so was the new management. It was a lovely atmosphere. Perfect for a sunny afternoon out. Definitely will be back!
Went here for lunch I had beefchilli burrito with half chips half rice Joan had the special meat and potaoe pie with carrots was more veg but she did not want it was £ 31 for two meals and a pint of lager and half of bitter
Lovely meal our for mother in laws birthday. We had a mixture of vegan and non vegan food. Everything was lovely. Came out piping hot and was delicious. Vegan brownie was to die for. Staff lovely as always and the new manager even came to have chat to us before we left. Highly recommend paying them a visit.
