Lovely visit today after a winter walk in Finchingfield. The lady serving us made sure we were okay as she was busy! The food was absolutely delicious and good value, and the cake was amazing. Even better to know it’s all home baked 😊
The seating area was really nicely decorated and very warm inside which was nice to escape the wind. Thank you for the nice food and cake 🍰.

Super Village to walk around & the lady who runs the greedy duck provides a great place for a pit stop. Nice food & drink, lovely lady, clean toilet

Great little place to stop for a bite to eat. Everything is freshly prepared & nicely presented. Hot & cold food available, eg. salads, toasties etc, along with hot & cold drinks. Plenty of choice for vegetarians and there is gluten free bread and cakes available. Picture shows smashed avocado on gf bread with salad & coleslaw. Service was quick and friendly. Visited around midday on a weekday. On street parking available in the village and there is a toilet just next door, but down a step, so not suitable for wheelchairs.

Lovely little find. Recommended to us when we stopped for petrol at the local garage. I had the Avocado on Sourdough bread - delicious. My husband had the home made sausage roll, yum. The tea, coffe & Victoria Sponge were also good. The decor is nice & fresh & Sue was extremely welcoming and friendly & we'll definitely stop here again 😊
