Not exaggerating, but one of the BEST cornish pasties I've ever had. We tried the classic and cheese and onion pasties.
The pastel de nata was also amazing.
The cinnamon roll was a bit soggy though, but I forgive them since everything else was fine.
There is only one loo upstairs though, so people had to wait quite a while to use it.
Dog friendly🐩🐩 Downstairs and upstairs sitting available.
Gorgeous pasties. We had a traditional and a cheese and onion. The coffee was the best I have had in a long time. The staff were very friendly and polite. It is spacious inside which feels nice as the area is cute but very crammed.
We visited this bakery almost every morning during our stay in Fowey. Delicious pastries - highly recommend the cherry almond croissant, but the pain au chocolat and savoury options are great too. The coffee was good, but would appreciate if they added sugar to the espresso when making lattes instead of having customers add it after. Would make a more delicious blend. Babyccinos are too small or overpriced for what you get so we only ordered the once and then convinced our toddler we could make a better one at home.
Definitely the best cafe in Fowey! Super dog friendly; amazing food and coffee and the staff are extremely pleasant. We get withdrawal symptoms if we don't visit at least once a week!! Definitely recommend a visit when you are in Fowey.
I know there’s the question of authenticity, but putting that aside, we just kept going back here for more. The staff were lovely, there’s a good amount of seating, and the flavour options for the pasties were so good. Particular favourite was the masala pasty, which was so, so tasty. The traditional one was yummy too. They also do a thick spanish hot chocolate for anyone who wants an extreme chocolate experience. Their normal hot choc was also really decent.
My family, 4 adults and 2 children, have holidayed in Fowey 4 years on the trot. This is the first port of call for a great coffee and pasties or croissant after a 5 hour drive. And the last call before we drive back home. We call in here nearly every day for a coffee and a snack. My favourite pastie is the vegetable one, I’m not a vegetarian, it’s because they are nice and spicey. They serve sausage baps along with bacon baps in the morning till they are sold out. The rest of the meals are always first class.
The staff are very friendly, and the premises are always clean. There is extra seating upstairs with one toilet. I thoroughly recommend Cornish Bakery for quick delicious meals.
They had so many options of yummy treats to eat. Plus milk alternative for the coffee! I had the raspberry croissant. It was beyond amazing. There is seating upstairs as well. Card only.
Becki and her team never fail to impress with their cheery welcome and fabulous coffee. 5 stars all the way! Well done, keep doing what you’re doing 😘
Lovely as always! Went in had a lovely hot choc. Both becki and katy were amazing as always, making it very welcoming too sit in. Definitely recommend and will be back soon.
Coffee was really good but they could do with sorting out their service line, one person on the till & one doing bakery, one coffees would be a lot more efficient. I queued for 15 mins just for a coffee!
