A really lovely pavement cafe. The best coffee shop cakes I've ever had. The almond cake, brownie & orange polenta were soooooo good.

Delicious warm mackerel salad. Plenty of gluten free options, thank you! Illy coffee. Very nice atmosphere.

Excellent coffee by Illy, lovely cakes. There are seats outside to sit and watch the people go by on this historic little lane called Cheap Street. I enjoyed falling into conversation with Sir Ed Davey about the LibDems domination in the last by-election.

This is our first choice of cafe in Frome. Italian style, great coffee, ciabattas, breakfasts (favourite: sausage sandwich) and lunches (favourites: local ham, egg and chips; club sandwich) — high quality ingredients and friendly and well trained service. Sit outside and watch the world go by or find a perch indoors. Good for a quick espresso con panna, a Spanish almond cake and a read of the local paper on your own, or with Nonna, wife and the kids on a family Saturday in town. Larger tables upstairs, ideal for families. Also the best Italian style ice cream in the Southwest. Set in a medieval building on on a traffic free lane, with a stream running up the middle. Particularly good for coeliacs — they take it really seriously and anything on the menu can be made properly gluten free (if it isn’t already — the sausage sandwiches for example. I prefer the high gluten version, but their gluten free version is excellent).

Excellent breakfast and superb coffee. Veggie and full English breakfast were great. The sausages were top notch. The bread comes from a bakery next door and was beautiful. Thoroughly reccomend.

What a cracking little Cafe La Strada is in Frome. I had ordered a Doorstep Bacon and Sausage sandwich for my lunch. It was so tasty and the amount of Sausage and bacon you get is incredible it's completely filled. The staff here are excellent with sorting peoples orders and friendly. Even when I moved to a different table it was cleared for me before I managed to sat down. I definitely would come again as of my experience and way you get treated is excellent.

We only popped in for some ice cream. I had a double scoop of pistachio and sea buckthorn in a cone. Really enjoyable.

Honestly the best croissant I’ve had! Super fresh and soft, would recommend. :) Chocolate one especially! The iced mocha is also very nice.

Cute little cafe in Frome with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. They do all day breakfast until 3pm (at least when we visited) and they had a large ice-cream selection too. Perfect for a meal with coffee and then some ice-cream to go. Everything was little on the expensive side but it was a good experience with a pleasant atmosphere.

Visited on day when Frome market was happening so quite busy in the whole town. Located at the top of a small pedestrian street, a bit quieter than the main road. Really enjoyed the bacon doorstep sandwich and affogato. Staff were really efficient, managing to serve and delivering the food really quickly. Good selection of gelato, cakes and sandwiches.
