Took friend who is new to area for a light lunch. Had lovely toasties and mugs of tea that did the job nicely!
Traditional meals were also available if we had wanted in two sizes!

10/10 all homemade food by a lovely bunch of ladies, highly recommended… big breakfasts only £8, Christmas dinners only £6.70. Plenty of seating area, clean and well maintained staff are very polite, a perfect place to get out the cold

This is a gem of a cafe. I have been here numerous times and the staff are always helpful, friendly and approachable. The food has always been excellent and they have a wide variety of homely foods. It does not seem to have much on the vegan side but I am sure if you called ahead and told them of any special requirements they would try to work something out for you. Unfortunately it is not wheelchair accessible to get inside but there is outside seating options available. They are very affordable paying 5-10 for a meal and a drink. The meals are of a good side to fill you and they are very child friendly. I would recommend this if you are passing by or visiting the local Saltwell Park.
