Pleasantly surprised about the halal range of ready made meals and fresh meats. Visit often despite living quite far away from this store.

Straightforward shopping experience using self-checkout. Look out for cut price deals available to users of Nectar card or app. There is also a Sainsbury's petrol station at the site, where you can use the Nectar card to build yp your points. Petrol prices are often slightly lower than at other local petrol stations that support Nectar cards.

First time here, didn't know what to expect, found the freezer food as far away from the entrance you can get virtually, not great being disabled, I was expecting to find a few more of their ready meals than there was, so couldn't get what I needed for the week, but it's certainly a spacious place, and nice to see logical car parking and exit directions clearly laid out, I keep telling my store it needs changing but they just waste money instead of being logical, but it's alright what I saw of it.

Easily accessed from the A1 .Much cheaper than the services at Washington/Birtley service area. On average about a 50p difference in cost per litre for petrol and diesel!

Never had issues parking, the entrance can be easy to miss if you come from Team Valley side, it's the turn on/after the traffic lights 🚥. Inside has always been clean, staff appears to be mostly elderly. They have a nasty habit of keeping the human tills closed on the late of an evening, causes hassle for 9-5 folk trying to get a shop in. There is an Argos by the checkout too. Also a very popular battery recycling point on the exit.

As a regular customer I have to mention Carol who works on the lottery and tobacco counter . She is always friendly courteous and goes that extra mile. A definite asset to the company others should follow her example.

Find it family-friendly. All kimd of grosaries available. I did not find any Halal meat in here of any kind. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Nector cards make shopping easy.
Kids Garments are good.
