Lovely cosy pub with great service and excellent food. Went there for an anniversary and it was lovely. Would highly recommend.

Only ate. Lovely Sunday roast. Only complaints would be my preference for crispier roast potatoes, and not offering horseradish but having to catch another server to get it. Good quality and quantity of beef. Dessert was also very good.

Hubby and I had Sunday dinner, food was excellent meat done exactly as I asked for it, bar staff polite and waiting staff very efficient and attentive. Beautiful setting. Will definitely be going again.

Lovely wedding anniversary meal. Well cooked food and attentive service, however the Cod wrapped in leek could of used more sauce. Would of been nice for the staff to acknowledge our first wedding anniversary especially that this was our wedding venue and we did mention it on the booking.

Perfect gastropub food! We had most of the menu between us and everything was delicious and well plated. I took some American guests here, and it was the perfect example of an old pub serving delicious food!

We had dinner here on a Monday evening, it was truly delicious. Every course was absolutely fabulous. The staff were excellent, friendly & professional. We ate in the bar as we had a dog with us, who was suitably fussed over. Lovely atmosphere and we will be sure to revisit.

We spent the night here last Monday as a birthday treat for my wife.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the food was excellent, good quality and a decent quantity.
The rooms arer away from the main building, so we enjoyed a really peaceful night. Best sleep in ages!

What a beautiful village pub! Every corner is so pretty, from the exposed brick in the front bar, to the tasteful lavatories and the cozy garden room. It has a very welcoming feel and we spoke to others who were sat with dogs. We visited on a Tuesday for my Nans 80th, the staff were attentive and set one large table up in the garden room which was lovely. The facilities for private weddings or functions look lovely and I will certainly consider it as a venture for future events. The garden is huge and has wonderful views across the countryside. Food was great, the starters took a fair while but we were happily chatting. The food was wonderfully presented and very tasteful. I would definitely return.

Great pub. Sunday lunch excellent, best roast beef I have had for a long time. Dining Room very smart and upmarket, The service was great credit to all the staff. The wife said her fish was great and couldn't say it was amazing without consulting with some guy called Greg!
