Brilliant service fantastic food , lovely extensive menu would fully recommend
Throughly enjoyed our meal, everything was cooked perfectly, excellent service, helpful & friendly staff, never been disappointed yet with any of the meals we have chosen, will definitely be visiting again soon.
We stopped at Grantham to take photos of the statues of Sir Isaac Newton and Baroness Margaret Thatcher and on the way back to the A1 we we had lunch at the Farrier. The service was helpful and friendly and the food was cooked well, we had good lunch at a reasonable price.
Nice Brewers fayre on the outskirts of Grantham, we used it for a lunch stop on our way to Lincolnshire. Food was nice and staff helpful
Restaurant was fully booked and we hadn't booked. They could have turned us away but they took pity on us and found a table that hadn't arrived on time. Very kind. And great food
Spur of the moment stop for lunch on our way to Holbeach. We didn't want a big meal so opted for the 2 mains for £12 something, total came to a little over £18 for two of us with 2 drinks. Place was fairly busy but the wait for the order was not too long, I had burger with fries, partner had jacket with salad. For a lunch and from the deal menu we have no complaints other than a little more sauce with the potato would be welcome.
If we go that way again we wouldn't hesitate to stop for lunch. I only gave 3 stars for atmosphere as there were a lot of families with kids that were a bit noisy lol.
nice enough place for a chain pub. always busy so book if you can. dropped a star because the roast potatoes have changed since my last visit, they have a coating on that had too much salt and didn't taste great. rest of the meal was good
Conveniently located just off the A1, this was a great place for us to stop for dinner on a long journey. The food itself was good and what I would expect from a chain pub, but it was the service that really stood out. All the members of staff went out of their way to ensure we had a relaxing meal and were happy to accommodate my gluten intolerance. There is a separate gluten free menu available that makes meal selection easier. The kids menu was good value with some vegetarian options, which was welcome. Sadly we didn't get a chance to try the play area. If we are passing around dinner time again we will very likely call again.
We enjoyed our visit. We had not booked as we were only passing through. They said they did not have a table in the restaurant but we could sit in the bar area. That suited me as I am deaf and the bar area was quieter. Our food was delivered quite quickly and my lasagna was hot and tasty. My husband enjoyed the prawn cocktail. A pleasant visit. Thank you.
Excellent breakfast.
Stopped here on our way from Kent to Grimsby as the A1 road services are awful. For just under £10 we had a full buffet style breakfast all of which was extremely good and great value
Situated just off the main road is was convenient without disrupting our journey
When we arrived Sue was polite and friendly took us to our table. John had quickly and efficiently cleaned and re-laid for us to sit and eat. Pete behind the carvery was friendly and accomodating. Very busy family pub restaurant with all the staff helping to keep the quality and atmosphere spot on. 👌 Thank you 😊
Very nice, comfortable and most adequate for a short stop over.
Rooms are functional at the Premier Inn and the food at the Fayre is really tasty.
The guy who serves the carvery deserves give stars himself!
