Decided to have lunch here today, family and I currently on holiday. We had been walking along the seafront when we arrived here. Know about this place from a local YouTuber " Walk with Me Tim" so felt that we had to check it out. Not disappointed at all. Great location, staff friendly, restaurant very clean and tidy loved the old photos on the walls. Food was great and well presented very happy kids all round and good size portions.

Saras Tearoom, located in Great Yarmouth, offers a delightful experience for visitors seeking a charming and retro atmosphere. As we arrived in the morning, we were immediately struck by the tearoom's quaint appearance, accentuated by faded exterior wood designs that added a touch of nostalgia. Preserving historical elements in establishments like Saras Tearoom is commendable as it allows future generations to appreciate and learn from the past. Upon entering, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff, creating a pleasant and inviting atmosphere. Eager to sample their offerings before heading out to explore Great Yarmouth Beach, we indulged in some delectable treats. My partner opted for the Cherry Bakewell Slice, while I chose the classic combination of a scone with jam and clotted cream. The quality of the food surpassed our expectations, as the baked goods were not only aesthetically pleasing but also incredibly fresh and flavorful. One aspect I particularly appreciated was that the clotted cream was served in its tub, allowing me to personalise the amount I desired on my scone. Naturally, I couldn't resist consuming the entire serving. As we enjoyed our food, the delightful aromas wafting from other patrons' plates piqued our curiosity, leaving us eager to return and try out their famous burgers on a future visit. Saras Tearoom offers a variety of seating options to cater to different preferences. Whether one prefers the front of the tea room, the cosy interior, or even a spot near the beach, there is a suitable place for every visitor. Additionally, we were pleased to discover that the tearoom is dog-friendly, indicated by a sign that reads, "Well-behaved dogs welcome but strictly no barking, please keep your dog off tables, chairs and laps, dogs must be kept on a lead and under control at all times and to keep all walkways clear." This thoughtful accommodation for four-legged friends adds to the tearoom's inclusive and welcoming ambience. Furthermore, Saras Tearoom understands the needs of larger groups and offers reserved tables specifically for parties of six or more. This considerate touch ensures that families or larger gatherings can enjoy their time together without worrying about finding adequate seating arrangements. In conclusion, our visit to Saras Tearoom was an enjoyable experience. The tearoom's retro charm, attentive staff, and delectable treats left a lasting impression. Whether you are a history enthusiast appreciating the preserved exterior, a food lover seeking delightful refreshments, or a group organiser needing suitable seating arrangements, Saras Tearoom caters to various preferences. We eagerly look forward to returning to sample their renowned burgers and create more fond memories in this delightful establishment.

We had a lovely Afternoon tea and our boys had a toasted panni and sandwich, which came with salad and crisps, looked and tasted lovely, we sat inside, which was clean ,with enough space so as not to feel cramped, dogs are allowed inside..even do dog cakes..or rather pupcakes!!, they list the ingredients so you know what's in them, you can sit outside too, beach side is on part of the walkway through,so just be aware of lots of people passing you as you sit and eat or drink, the other side is nicer...but can be a little hot if the sun is shining, there isn't much shade, although there are parasols, but they appear to be cable tied shut?? There are also toilets. They have a really good menu, jacket potatoes, toasted panni, sandwich, cream tea, oh and lots of different cakes...all home made...Good job I don't live here....I'd be their best customer!! Would definitely recommend this place!!!

Traditional tea rooms / restaurant serving lovely homemade cakes and scones, on the sea front. They do breakfast and lunch too, at reasonable prices.

We popped in for a sandwich and cream tea with our toddler. The sandwiches were filled well and the cream tea was nice. We had lovely hot chocolates too. Staff were friendly and high chairs were available. Baby changing facilities were also available. Nice accessible location.
