I recommend dining in, get yourself some fish and chips (the plaice beats the cod for me but ask the staff if you want to know the options properly), get a beer / glass of wine and have the one of the best plates of fish and chips you'll ever get, with homemade tartar sauce ok the side as standard. So good!

We were at Hamerton Hospital for a routine visit and it was close ho lunch time. Therefore, we decided to walk to Chatsworth Road to look for a place to eat and we saw this place. We all took fish and it was fresh and well cooked. Also the chips were well cooked and not greasy. You could see that the cooking oil was new and not burned. The place was quiet as being a Monday and the service was fast with courtesy. It's a very good chippy and reasonable priced in my opinion and for our taste, and I recommend it.

This restaurant is amazing! Not only is the cod and chips, excellent quality and tasty, everything is perfect. Maggie, chef and Rose are lovely. Such a warm welcome and attentive customer service. The restaurant and their toilets are clean and well maintained. I absolutely recommend and they're consistent, whether you eat in or takeaway, the quality remains the same. I will try not to go on too much about the fact it ain't a proper Chippy if there's no Sausage in batter or savaloys on the menu, but the EastEnd ain't what it used to be, since money moved in 🤷‍♂️ Anywayyyyy I digress. I came back after walking past and noticing the amount of people waiting to be served. Really nice, clean and fresh looking premises too. The service, unfortunately, was questionable 🤔 The dude was helpful and cheery!🎯 The chick that served me, not so much!👎🏽 The Food, especially the fish, was very nice.😋 The fish [cod] was very fresh and the batter crispy AND tasty! 💯 I got a regular which came with enough chips [just] and a decent enough sized fish for the price! Not sure of the price..think it might of been £9 as the girl that served me only threw [literally] a pound back at me, after I gave her a tenner 🤷‍♂️ Highly recommend the food here, and even though they don't have everything a chippy should have, they still have a good selection. I'll stick to ordering from JustEat going forward myself😁
