Pal Bar And Kitchen

Review from 14/9/23 Booked a table for 2 for my wife's birthday, never been there before but had heard good things. From walking in I absolutely loved it. The place had a relaxed feeling to it and the music was a mixture of exactly what we both liked. The decor was simple but with the music and the bar area it worked really well. We were greated by Ewa who was behind the bar, great guy who couldn't have been more helpful. We had drinks at the Bar and felt very welcome. Cocktails were incredible, the draught beer was awesome and later, their single malt Whiskey was amazing and not to be found anywhere else. The jars behind the bar are a great idea to save waste with pickled items and vinegars in them from the kitchen. The food came out in a very reasonable time after ordering and was very tasty, in particular the mongolian meatballs. Incredible and not to be missed. Best I have ever eaten. The king prawns were also beautiful as were the roasted Carrots. Service was great all night and attentive. The only feedback I gave was in relation to the crispy chicken thighs. I love crispy thighs but they must have a crispy outer. They tasted good just lacked the crisp I love. Other than that, which is just my own personal opinion, everything else was perfect for a special night. I hope more people visit, its definitely worth it. Thankyou all for the food and service. We visited today for lunch, managed to get some seats outside. There was a really chilled vibe and a good amount of options on the menu, we went for the sandwich and flatbread options which included a drink, then ordered the peppered fries and Parmazan fries on the side. The pork sandwich was beautiful of different flavours, the service was great and the prices too we was served by the American girl (sorry forgot your name). Definitely be back again 😀

Absolutely delightful staff and an ace chef. We immensely enjoyed our visit today. Every single member of staff was so attentive, so pleasant and so so lovely. My wife, little daughter and I had a lovely evening and super splendid food. Will surely come again and will highly recommend this place. Thank you so much.

The food is excellent and reasonably priced. The menu is wide ranging and inventive with a range of different types of dishes. All the food is cooked fresh. The service is excellent too. It was my wife's birthday and they were happy to keep a cake overnight for us and then serve it at the appropriate time. They also have a good range of cocktails, alcoholic and non alcoholic as well as the normal range of wines and beers. We had a very enjoyable evening. We've been there many times and will return again.

Yet another delicious dining experience at PAL!!! It has quickly become our eatery of choice. The tantalising menu is always full of new surprises, each packed with exciting flavours. Hats off to Chef Dale and his team, great to see them enjoying their craft. The ambience is vibrant and fresh, relaxing and chic, all at the same time. The exciting drinks menu has something for every occasion including some truly innovative cocktails! This is made all the more pleasurable by the exceptionally charming staff! An inner city haven in the centre of Grimsby, just what we needed, bravo PAL👏

New little gem! Just what Grimsby needs! Atmosphere was nice, everything super clean! Awesome cocktails and loved the tapas style dishes, and the fact they change every week so you will always find something different to try on the menu. All reasonably priced for the area, and tasty, fresh, quality food. Will definitely be going back and will recommend to anyone who fancies something a little different to try.
