I enjoy Italian food. I am currently away with my parents, and my Wife (who has food allergies).
When my Wife and I go to a restaurant, she normally struggles to find a choice of meals due to her allergies.
Buon Gusto's menu is extensive, and gave my Wife the opportunity to actually have a number of choices which she was excited to try.
The food was absolutely amazing, easily the best Italian food I have eaten in the UK, and I'm the wrong side of 50.
All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals, and the experience of being served by people who obviously enjoy what they do.
We had starters, mains and deserts (with drinks), for @ £40 per head which quite frankly is exceptional value for money. We definitely want to eat here again before we return home.

We have been there a few times and the staff is always friendly and the food delicious. The spaghetti with meatballs and lasagna were very tasty. The chef prepared a lovely pasta dish for our toddler, which he thoroughly enjoyed. Definitely our favourite Italian in town 😊

On a weekend break, we had booked in advance due to earlier reviews. We were not disappointed.
From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed, warmly and enthusiastically. Service was friendly and efficient. The choice on the menu was really good, especially the meat free options, but nothing prepared us for the food. The starters were quickly served and cooked to perfection and the mains were outstanding. I don't think I have ever enjoyed Italian food this much (and I love Italian food). Thank you Buon Gusto, I'm just sad that I don't live in Harrogate!

While in Harrogate for a couple of days we wanted to eat at an Italian restaurant and we were pleased to find Buon Gusto. The restaurant is traditional Italian with a lovely atmosphere. Great menu, wonderful food and excellent service. We would definitely visit often if we lived nearby.

Harrogate’s hidden little diamond. Visited this restaurant for my birthday and loved every minute of it.
We had pizza bread for starters with olives, balsamic vinegar, olive oil and a selection of bread. The pizza bread was fresh and tasted really good.
Mains was pasta with meatballs. The offering was very generous. Very tasty.
Steak was unreal. Cooked perfectly (medium) and the peppercorn sauce really complimented this along with the chips. I have to compliment the chef. Even the chips were lovely and crispy.
Staff were very friendly. Met the owner and had a really good chat, laughing throughout our visit.
Cost was very reasonable at £88 plus tips considering we were eating in Harrogate.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
We will definitely return on our next visit to Harrogate. Thank you 🙏

Second visit here over a couple of months. Both previously and today the food was really good. We had the two courses for £15.00 offer. Place was quiet, service was excellent. Lovely place for lunch. Happy to recommend.
