Today I had the most delicious lunch at Hakkaland in Harrow. I was impressed by the professional & friendly staff which were on hand. The manager Paula was superb & explained all the vegan dishes on offer. The service was quick & the taste of the food was fresh, authentic & wholesome. The size of the dishes were enough to fill you comfortably. The waiter Kelvin ensured I was happy throughout the meal. I would 100% recommend this restaurant for the very best food for miles. You will not be disappointed. Five stars.......
Excellent place in Harrow to enjoy some chinese fusion dishes! We went around early lunch before they got busier. The staff was very friendly, especially Vivian who had excellent insight into every dish. We went for all his recommendations and were very pleased!
This is definately a place for those craving Indo-chinese dishes. Chicken lollipop is super yummy however the food colour used in it is a bit too much. The ambience is good, parking is easily available. The service is bit slow.
Other dishes we enjoyed was chicken wanton, kungpao chicken and egg fried rice
Amazing ambience and wonderful staff.
The food is too delicious and just as per the Indo Chinese taste
The staff is very well aware about the dishes and the food comes as per your taste.
Very smiling and friendly staff
Would like to visit again one for food and the service as well
We went for dinner and saw the reviews but then decided to give it a try, and truly we were not disappointed. It was truly the taste we wanted to try. The samosa chat is absolutely fantastic, veg Manchurian has some scope to improve, we had hakka noodles as well, and they are how we had in India but they can reduce the oil use. We also had kadhai paneer and tandoori roti and plain naan. It was truly good. We look forward to visiting again.
Indo-chinese is a specialist cuisine and only understood and appreciated by a person who has grown up eating the quintessential family dinner outing Chinese food especially in Kolkata. I think that this restaurant does justice to those typical dishes. We ordered the Kolkata chilli chicken, Kolkata fried rice and veg manchurian and they all were true to their flavours.
Please keep the original flavours and recipes of your dishes true to their origins - it is great to see you keeping it alive thousands of miles away from Kolkata and India. Highly recommended for great Indian and Kolkata chinese food.
Great location, easily accessible. No parking in front of the restaurant but there are many paid parking places nearby which aren't expensive as such. Though I have been here only once the food we ordered was pretty amazing and had the authentic indo-chinese flavors. Clean place inside and ambience is pretty basic. Staff was kind and the service was quick too.
Eating is beyond tasty food. In Hakkaland, you will enjoy every experience be it service or cleanliness or cosy interior design. Dining is an adventure, from starters to desserts, you will be amazed by the uniqueness of many dishes. 🍛🍲We celebrated my husband's birthday there and will be going there for other occasions as the staff make us feel so special.
Went with my cousins, was a good family meal. They have good vegetarian options and food is tasty. We tried about 7-8 items and they were all good or excellent.
Negative points: it is a bit expensive compared to the other restaurants in the area and paid about £20 per head without drinks and we shared our meal. Also the non vegetarian food can be stinky and the air ventilation doesn't clear the smell very quick so can be off-putting.
Overall still recommend going there.
Visited on a Friday night with few friends, absolutely amazing. Authentic Indo Chinese experience, Kolkata taste, good portion size and friendly staff. Definitely visiting again.
Went here for takeaway Hakka noodles. Whilst we waited the staff were attentive and efficient. The atmosphere was perfect too for large groups as well as smaller ones.
Amazing indo chinese food. Chilli chicken and lollypop yo die for. The staff was sweet and well behaved.
The price is on the higher side with 12.5% tax. Also the schezwan chopsuey was too sweet. Expected a little spicier.
But overall closest to Tengra chinese in london. Will definitely visit again.
