We went to this pub recently with a group of 12 of us, adults and children.
This pub has such great potential being so close to a haven site.
Our food was very tasty with great chips but just felt they had been overloaded quite easily. X x

The owner and staff were friendly. Good music and the food quality and portions were brilliant. Highly recommend. A short stroll from haven if you don't fancy cooking

First time here, felt really welcome and looked after. Relaxed palce, great for the kids and the Sunday roast was excellent, and the dessert....biscoffee cheese cake, home made, was the best cheese cake I've ever had!!!look forward to going back there!

Very nice Shepherd Neame Pub which is very Quaint,Can not Rate the Food as I did not have anything to Eat.
But was Greatly Pleased as it had Hurlliman Swiss Lager which is of a High Quality and Tasty,Landlord very nice Fellow and Left Contented.

Great pub just a short walk from the holiday camp , good beer and a nice atmosphere, drank in there a few nights and always enjoyable I would highly recommend having food there. The food was lovely and very fresh Thanks Brett

We were on holiday and found this pub up the road to where we were staying best find I must say lovely pub great outdoor space fab atmosphere. The locals were lovely and the landlord so welcoming. The service was great. Unfortunately we didn't eat as we run out of time but the food and presentation I saw looked amazing. Would definitely recommend visiting.

We sat in the garden and had a drink on a warm sunny day and thoroughly enjoyed it. Haven't been here for many years. Seems like a nice family pub with a comfortable feel and friendly service.

Visiting haven, and decided to try here for somewhere different for food, loved it food was so beautiful and good value for money. They bought out kids meal first which is perfect; lovely garden area.

We have been talking about going to the comet for ages but never got round to it, until today. We called the pub to check if there was food being served and if dogs were welcome. I had a pleasant chat with I think the landlord who told me that the food was indeed being served and dogs are more than welcome. We arrived and ordered our drinks and they opened a tab for the food we ordered. We sat outside as it was a wonderful evening. The landlord then came out with our placemats, cutlery and salt etc. he then reappeared with several biscuits for the dog and then a great big chew for him. Our food arrived and it was great. The portion size was great and it tasted great. I will be recommending the comet to everyone in the area as a good old style pub that gives both good service and great pub food.
