Ladle Hastings

We had a beautiful meal here. So tasty & beautifully presented. Have stopped for coffee previously & had breakfast here on another occasion. Have never been disappointed. The staff are lovely, really efficient & friendly. The chef is amazing. Love the simple decor and lovely atmosphere. Will be back again for any time of day. It’s lovely.

What an absolute gem!! Perfect service, food is absolutely devine and they have a fabulous wine list and amazing cocktails. Alex, George and Fin are amazing!! Best restaurant in Hastings and cannot recommend highly enough! Ambience is so chilled and they are so welcoming! Highly recommended and cannot wait to go back! We were recommended this little restaurant by another shop owner and we were lucky enough to get a table at short notice. We started off with cocktails which were amazing and had bread with the chicken butter to share. This was delicious and I've never seen chicken butter before. Then I had the sea bass with a lobster bisque and my husband had the veggie squash. Both were incredible and portions were huge! We couldn't manage dessert. We will definitely re-vist on our next trip and really hope George and Alex do well, such an amazing business given the space they have to work in. I love that everything is prepared right in front of you. Definitely worth 5* in anyone's book.

Very nice place. It feels clean and good atmosphere. Has some seating outdoors and of course indoors. This is not a massive place so I guess it might get rather full in the evenings when opened. They offer a great selection of wines and beers. Now.... regarding the food, it is a gem, in a town mainly focused on fried chips an fried fish. If you need a healthy option to the mentioned, you need to give this place a try. You won't be disappointed if you're Vegan, vegetarian or neither. Plenty of meat options too. Staff are attentive and polite. So don't go past this place without eating here. Highly recommended.
