Freshly cooked and the best Indian takeaway in town. A restaurant/takeaway with a kitchen you can see into is extremely rare and for me is a big positive, they have nothing to hide and that is clear with the quality of the food.

This is a great little find. A family run restaurant serving good food at reasonable prices. If you're eating in bring your own booze.
I'll be back with a few friends next time.

We had a delightful meal and friendly service from Mr. and Mrs. Mon. I had the vegetable pathia, mushroom rice, and garlic naan. Marvelous depth of flavor and generous portions. 10/10 recommend.

Decent. Price is right. Food is tasty. Chicken could be a bit higher quality, but for the price, I can't complain. I wouldn't mind paying a bit more, if the chicken was a bit more tender.

Been searching for a new Indian take away place after being so disappointed with other places recently (cold food, super greasy bhajis, and generally overpriced food) thank goodness I found this place! OK I waited longer than expected but it is Saturday night! It arrived delivered by a very friendly driver and the food was nice and hot and DELICIOUS. Lots of flavour and not greasy. My new favourite Indian in Hastings! oh and very reasonably priced too ❤

Never been to Hastings before, when looking at places to eat Mons had such good ratings! We saw reviews of the boss letting children in the kitchen to help cook and that confirmed how lovely they were. When the food arrived we were absolutley over the moon! Everything was so nice, authentic and tasted amazing! Far better than the curry we get in London. We will definitley be ordering again when we next visit!

Delicious food with very nice and funny staff. They asked if I wanted to be there and see how the food was made. I was there with my family, (one of them has celiak desease), and they were really careful and showed us in the ingredients list just so we could be sure there was no gluten, which there were none. The waiting time was a little long, but its a family business with not a lot of people, so it was expected. Recommend the nan breads!! 5/5.

I ordered the Chicken Jalfrezi, Pillau Rice, Green Salad with complimentary onion salad and Spiced Poppadoms- The meal was delivered fresh and hot and was absolutely delicious, which I thoroughly enjoyed- I will most definitely order again, and if any one is considering ordering a wonderful curry etc, then Mon's Massala is the one - super, super food.
