We’ve been coming to Hawes for the last 13 years & have never had a bad meal yet. Twice last week we ate in the pub, first night steak pie, so much meat, which was rich & succulent, a huge portion. 2nd time the Halibut, cooked to perfection & the blue cheese complimented the fish beautifully. We shared the Rhubarb trio desert, the crumble was so light & delicate, the brûlée was so moorish. The rhubarb ice cream was a delight. The staff are really friendly & chatty & great service. One not to miss when in Hawes but make sure you book!

Went for a meal after one of the caravan & motorhome staff suggested when I asked wich pub for a meal, her favourite white hart, true to the word, so we went back on Sunday night to enjoy another meal, well done chef also staff very friendly, would highly recommend.

Had Sunday lunch here, huge portions, tasted great, great service.
The triple roast was fantastic, and my brownie dessert was one of the best.
My wife had the roast chicken, and couldn’t eat it all, still found room for most of a boozy Black Forest sundae, I the pleasure of helping on that one, and it was delicious.

Popped in for a pint with the family after a lovely walk, friendly staff and good selection of beers.
Beer garden wasn’t open at the time. We set out the front, would’ve been nice to have been able to sit in the beer garden but may do with outside in the sun.

Excellent food. We had the lambs liver and it was extremely tasty. We then shared the rhubarb trio (crumble & real custard & ice cream & flan). Superb - tastiest pudding ever and definitely enough for two.

Fabulous pub in the centre of Hawes. Dog friendly in the bar area. Called for lunch on Saturday. Very nice! Good service.

Stayed overnight and eat in the pub. The food was wonderful.
We will book again. Very happy with our visit to the White Hart and Hawes.
