Good old traditional English pub food. Very clean and very cheap esp for Cornwall!!!!! Have the roast dinner it was perfect. Friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Will def be returning

We have known Frank the landlord for well over 20 yrs and have never had a bad meal in there, it's a great pub with first class service and always a warm welcome from him, I always try and get in to see him when I go to the Lizard, opening hours permitted. Anyone that wants to visit an oldie worldly pub when they come to Cornwall then this is the best place to be, no question!!
If I could do 10 stars then I would. Never been anywhere with this level of service. The welcoming smile of the landlord is second to none. Definitely the best pub in cury. The free wifi is twice as fast as I have at home. The rustic astetic on the outside flows nicely to the inside
Food was superb (had the broccoli cheese bake, for all intensive purposes it was a hotpot sliced potato, cheese sauce etc). Only loses a star for the alcohol. Don't get anything on draught tastes like it hasn't been pulled in years, stick to bottles.
Fantastic place, great food, amazing fri ndly owners and staff. B at place we found to eat and at a great price as well.
Went in today with 4 adults and 3 chiodren. Decent food at cheap prices! Will be back again. Pleasant staff and beats any chain pub.

Really nice old fashioned pub, no frills but staff couldn't be friendlier, basic menu but good quality food. Really old school pub.
It's a traditional old school pub, laid back atmosphere, the food was spot on and not too pricey either
