I don’t get the bad reviews on here. The food we had was great. We came in as a party of 5 adults and two kids and the service was fantastic. We chatted a lot to the new manager who’s making all the changes to make the restaurant even better and she was very friendly and accommodating.
We were seated promptly and our food came out in no time at all, cooked to our requirements (got to have a blue steak now and then!) we had a couple of checkbacks to check everything was ok.
Top marks all round to everyone, especially the chef of the evening. The steak sizzler was incredible. Thanks guys
Popped in on Sunday late afternoon, plenty of seating and was busy too. Ordered via the app as there was a bit of a queue, highly recommend ordering that way! Food did take a little time to arrive but I think they were understaffed. Was lovely and really good price, not many places you can get a sit down meal for two for under £30! Cooked well and presented well.
Went here being told under new management! The new manager not only was she friendly she was so sweet as all of the staff working today. Food was amazing much better than previous managers.
Never been to a hungry horse before so this was my first time here. I had the 8oz* Smothered Steak Sizzler, it was tasty I enjoyed the meal. They brought it to the table sizzling covered in cheese, mushrooms, onion and peppers. Fries and onion rings were good too.
Atmosphere was quiet which I liked, I didn’t like the decor, the colours were loud and clashing but the food was good.
We had really lovely, tasty burgers and had the pleasure of meeting the new manager! Great value and great food. The standards have risen so much since the last time we came here. Highly recommend.
All I can say it since Will has been working here, we are happy to say this pub has improved

Don’t understand why people give low reviews, as we have been coming here for years with no problems. Lovely food, good value too. Enya was nice and friendly.
So I'm re doing this review as my visit today was a lot better than my last one. We had a lovely Sunday roast here. The service was pretty quick considering it was pretty busy. The restaurant was pretty clean and has lots of seating. Our roast dinners were cooked well and tasty with even the vegetables being cooked well.
The food tasted amazing, it was so lovely, I was especially hungry but it hit the spot. Amazing service, so understandable to picking eating. :)))
New management and new chefs have done well. Food is really nice and doesn't look like something out of a packet. The lady manager is friendly and welcoming
