5* rating from me!! Such friendly & helpful staff. Has an excellent variety of food, loads more than your average fish and chips shop. Large portion sizes! Their large cod and chips is brilliant!! Definitely the largest cod I've had in Kent. As a regular customer, I can confirm that you can always taste the freshness of the fish, you wont find another shop with fresher tasting fish than here! I can also guarantee that the chips are always cooked to perfection. I love their consistency in cooking excellent food, I've never been let down. Always will be my no1 food place!

Great fish and chips…. The best Cod I have ever tasted, fish is very fresh, light batter and great customer services and good prices and large portions.
Highly recommend the Shakey Shakey seasoning and peri peri salt.
Only one table for eating in but if you’re lucky it’s worth it.

Excellent service and nice fish and chips. Big chunky portions and plenty of chips. Guy knows about gluten really well and avoids cross-contamination. He even offered gluten free chips. He gave some chips to munch on while we waited. Excellent shop recommendations.

Had the best fish and chips this evening. Easily the best that I've ever had .....well done to all the staff and especially the guy who cooked it ....amazing!
The beautiful girl behind the till was polite and greeted us with a smile.
Would recommend highly and is mostly certainly, the best chip shop in Herne Bay 😋😁

Britannia fish bar was a great pit stop on my adventures. The shop has just had an owner change less than three months ago. I enjoyed every bite of my fish cakes and chips. I will be back soon hopefully sooner than later. Next time I will get curry sauce to go with this. Hopefully, it will be as tasty as the fish cakes. Thank you
