Not entirely sure how I managed to finish the plate put in front of me. The portion of bubble was probably a meal in itself: and really tasty. Perfectly cooked black pudding — three actually! — crispy on the outside; soft on the inside.

Visited June 2023: Cheap and cheerful cafe serving a variety of breakfast, brunch and lunch options. There is limited outdoor and indoor seating but well worth the visit when you get space. The prices are good and the portion sizes are very good too. Wheelchair accessible outside.

THE place to go, if you fancy a proper café 'Full English'.
Also, though, great for takeaway bacon/sausage/egg* rolls (*delete as appropriate 😉).
Good food, friendly service and it doesn't hurt the pocket.
