Found this lovely place for something to eat and it was absolutely fantastic. The staff from the moment you walk in to walking out were really nice. Very chatty and extremely polite. The Hase is an excellent pub next to Hessle Church. There is a wide range of beers and lagers on offer including three cask conditioned hand pulled real ales, something a lot of pubs can't manage so full marks to the landlord. It is a bit of a tardis it looks small from the outside but it goes back a long way. The pub sells excellent food at reasonable prices, the staff are very friendly, a great pub for a drink or a bite to eat. Highly recommended.

Lovely pub, had my partner's 30th birthday party here, it was a great night. Buffet was excellent, the dj was great and Mary the landlady was so nice and helpful. Would definitely have another party here.

Jade at "The Hase" gave us a warm welcome for a family get together (myself plus my sisters and 2 of 3 brothers-in-law) on Friday 28/10/2022.
We were lucky to have a fairly quiet Friday meal, eating, drinking and chatting, and only needed a nod to Jade for her to give us her full attention. Be warned, however, food service is only available Friday, Saturday and Sunday, from noon and just through the afternoon.
Portions were generous, and only three of us managed a sweet before coffee (or tea) was served. After more than three years without being able to all meet in one place, it was a lovely, friendly, venue to get together, and thanks to all the staff on duty who made the visit such a success.
