The Pigs

Had a beautiful stay here in the Wallow room. It was so lovely to have the sauna, steam room and hot tub in the room. It’s also a nice touch to have the fire outside for toasting marshmallows and the dining table in the room for room service. The staff were friendly and everything was well cleaned. The rooms seemed very soundproof too and we couldn’t hear anything in the hallways or other rooms which meant we could sleep well. Would love to return.

Myself & my friend was looking forward to this night away for two years waiting for the wallow Room, however when we got there, there was a dirty bin in the room left by cleaners ( this was rectified once we complained about it ) then also there was a long pubic hair on the bathroom floor. We had dinner but couldn't eat it all as the food was far far too rich with seasoning. We thought okay on a positive note breakfast will be nice but the breakfast was quite overcooked, egg yolks were hard, one egg had black crunchy bits in & shell inside, burnt sausages and bacon also. We love staying here as its a beautiful luxury place and the facilities are amazing! we have stayed here a few times before and only had positive experiences. We just thought maybe they have changed chef's since our last visit. Unfortunately, upon leaving the receptionist didn't ask about our stay, so the conversation was not opened for us to complain about the other issues we had experienced, and as shy people who suffer with social anxiety, we did not feel comfortable to bring it up ourselves because there were 3 people behind reception. On the plus side we did enjoy ourselves in the wallow & our massage the next morning was absolutely outstanding! I'm looking on a positive note it's a lovely place to stay. We've booked again in August so hopefully these mistakes won't happen again. :) I would recommend the pigs as it is a relaxing place.

Lovely 2 night break in Norfolk. We stayed in a Spa Suite for 2 nights and ate in the restaurant both nights. I highly recommend this place, the room, sauna, steam room and other facilities are excellent. Nice touch to have a fridge and Nespresso machine (large capsules) in the room. The evening meals and breakfast didn’t disappoint! All really lovely, just ate too much…. Finally all staff were super friendly and helpful.

It was our first time at the pigs, we've heard lots of good things about it and can now say ourselves that it is absolutely outstanding. So much so that I feel any other hotel won't compare to it. We are already planning our second visit, and we haven't even left yet. We stayed in the spa suite, and the sauna was my personal favourite, and my wife preferred the steam room. It was so clean and everything was provided for us even down to the small details. If you forgot anything from home, you probably wouldn't need to worry. There is SO much space as well, and the underfloor heating is so nice for when you get out of the shower or bath. We had the best nights sleep we've had in months, the bed was amazing, and I really liked the fact I could play my music on the Bluetooth speakers built into the room. Dinner and breakfast were fantastic, hands down the best cooked breakfast I've ever had, the taste of the meats were top quality and the staff are brilliant. I could go on and on and on, but it was the perfect place to spend my birthday, I would recommend it to anyone! We will be back!

Visited on a Wednesday evening with family after a local recommendation. Lovely location and welcoming atmosphere. We shared the piggy pieces between 4 - this includes pork and black pudding scotch egg, corpusty pork, sticky bbq ribs, sausage rolls, crackling farmhouse loaves & cornichons (£37). This was delicious, we could have had the same again to nibble on all night and been done! Belly pork & beef feather blade for main were 10/10. Couldn't find space for pudding 😔 The pub is relatively remote, no taxis available at all, but the bar staff were kind enough to offer us a lift home to the next village! Lovely experience, great service, highly recommended.

Eaten here many times as live 10 miles away so decided to book a birthday getaway night. Spotlessly clean, wonderful good quality furnishings. Fantastic bath for 2 and indoor sauna. Bit too cold to sit outside. Downside is the lack of tea/coffee quality. Standard tea bags but with the emphasis on relaxation and holistic wellbeing they should provide organic herbal teabags to fit in with the aura. Sadly it was a big letdown which put a mar on my stay, please work on this please as missed my evening and morning herbal teas.
