A surprise meal out tonight with my eldest. Food was absolutely excellent. The fillet steak with featherblade and mushroom and truffle risotto was perfect. Love the whole vibe of the place, the staff were excellent and only 5 minutes from home! Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone and looking forward to coming back!
Excellent beef and pork roasts and the burger was very good too! Lovely staff and great ambience with the wood burner crackling away. Highly recommend *****

Beautiful food as ever, went as a party of 6, service was great as was the food. Oh do try a pudding you won't be disappointed!!! The veg is separate and very nice indeed not your microwave afterthought!

Fabulous village pub. We turned up on spec and were able to choose between the restaurant and the garden: given it was a lovely evening we chose the garden. Really friendly staff and great service. The menu is excellent, with a good selection of local produce, and the meals we chose were very good indeed. Worth noting that, unlike many Norfolk establishments these days, service is not automatically added to your bill. Thoroughly recommended pub in a lovely location.
This was our first time visiting whilst on holiday and wow! The service was impeccable as soon as we walked through the door. We were given a bottle of water as soon as we were seated and was topped up with a new bottle each time it was empty (without asking)
We were a table of 5 and each of the dishes were super tasty and gorgeously presented.
Each and every staff memeber were friendly, smiley and attentive - it really felt as if we were being looked after. If you are looking for a place with nice ambience, gorgeous food and super lovely staff ... do not hesitate to visit this place!!

On the 3rd of June 2023 ww visited the Hurworth Bell Public House in Melton Constable
We were a family of four plus Father and Son plus our small well behaved little dog.
As we had our dog we was understandably asked to sit in the bar area rather than the main dining area to prevent other patrons from potentially being disturbed.
Service was absolutely great with polite and friendly staff who genuinely seem to enjoy their work.⭐️
Food and drink was all correctly and efficiently brought to our table without delay and none of our party felt like they were eating alone, the portion sizes were okay and very enjoyable.
The parking is plentiful and spacious atount the back of the pub and the toilets were clean inline with the rest of the establishment which can sometimes get overlooked.
I personally will be happy and look forward to my next visit to the Hunworth Bell (Also known as the Honey Bell locally) and although I like to always try to pick holes in my reviews to show a better balanced evaluation, I am unfortunately a little bit stumped here.
I hope you enjoy your visit as we obviously have.
Fantastic experience. Cannot fault this place. The food was great and the service was outstanding. They went out of their way to make our experience dining with the kids easy and enjoyable. The young guy engaging with our boy about his Pokémon drawings and the lady quietly asking if we wanted the dessert menu so the kids didn’t hear.
Have set a benchmark many will struggle to match. Great gluten free options as well.

Great place for dinner! Scotch egg for starter was amazing! Possibly the best burger we have had when eating out! Excellent service and super friendly staff. Dog friendly too!
Had a lovely lunch here today with great friendly service. Had a roast - meat and veg cooked well and very tasty - loses a little for me as I like a fluffy crispy roast tattie and mine weren't but that's about it negative wise with the grub. Portion size was about right. Cosy beer garden at rear too for a pint. Recommended.
Lovely pub in very pretty village. We received a warm welcome from our hosts. Came in through restaurant so didn't get to see the main pub. Will go again.
Food was tasty and plentiful. There is a good wine list too.
The family and I had a very good evening.
Visited Hunworth Bell yesterday for dinner as a party of 4 adults and 2 children. What a find, beautiful place, and the service and food were outstanding. Very highly recommended and will most definitely return when next in the area. Cant recommend highly enough.
